    Are those existing pylons in the photo or are they going to form part of the application for the substation? That'll be where the fun begins!

    I'd say they are new Jack, they built a similar switching station up on the Snugborough Road for the Amazon data centre...

    That's a brand new 200kv substation , so new pylons

    Thats some plant, will probably be biggest in the area, Where is this going exactly does anyone know? Beside Kepak or near Tyrrlstown side?:confused:

    Just on the spot on the N3 going towards town, there's signage up saying Maxol in 2016.

    eh no, this is the official location (for the Facebook DC):
    Lands within the townlands of Portan, Gunnocks and Clonee, County Meath - site bounded to the south by the R147, to the west by the Kilbride Road, to the north by The Mayne and to the east by lands at Damastown Industrial Park.

    I think we're getting confused the maxol garage is going on the corner of the n3 and Damastown and the Facebook data centre is going down further nearer to Kilbride.
