    Mam, always have done.

My younger sisters call her Mom, bastardised by American tv shows.

    Ma or Mammy.

"Mom" is used by skangers trying to sound posh.

I switch between mam and mum, and when I'm teasing her I call her Mom (in a really obviously faux American accent) or Mother in an imperious sort of tone. It's a source of much amusement I find :P

Edit: I forgot to mention that when she does something slightly embarrassing I'll usually say, "Jaaaaayzis ma!" in my best inner city dub accent. This annoys her the most :pac:

Dad called my mother "The Boss" or "please refer to The Manager before taking money out of my wallet....again"

My brother calls my mother "Mam"

I used to work with my mother when she was a restaurant manager, and it was a bit unprofessional to go through the kitchen door roaring "2 chicken and 2 salmon Mam!" so I started calling her by her first name. I stilll call her by her first name when I'm calling her from work, but when I go home I go back to "Mam".

I call her Mam, but if she's signing off on a letter or something she calls herself Mom.

I remember for a while when I was younger calling her Mother. She hated it!

Call my Dad by his first name though. Feels weird calling him Dad.

    I'd say mam or mom.
I hate when people call their parents by their first name. It's creepy.

ive called my mam by her first name since i was about 8, everyone thinks its weird.
it developed from when i used to always say maaaaa ma ma maa maaaaaaaa with no response, and as soon as i said her first name she would respond.

when im talking about her or answering a qustion though it me ma

a few people also began to think i was adopted because of it, i used to play along with their ignorance, even saying my real mother was a violent coke use. I got years of fun out of that one.

    Mom is what I use.
I remember calling my principal in primary school mom one time. My friends got a kick out of that for a few years.
