Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is jogging outside bad for you?

I hear that jogging on footpaths can be bad for knees. Is that true? I'd like to get fitter, but I don't want to join a gym. However, I'd rather not destroy my knees either!

    So, what's the deal?

Run properly and you'll be fine.

Jog on grass maybe, you probably wont go as far and end up with soggy socks.

Better to run on grass or trails..

Or if you don`t want to join a gym You could buy an exercise bike or cross trainer for your house?

You could also continue to run on hard surfaces if you glue a load of marshmallows to the soles of your shoes

    You're trying to hard now.

OP: Get fitted for a decent pair of runners and see how you get on. Some people have no problem running on hard surfaces. I can't, have to run on grass etc but everyone is different.

Warm down and stretch, get a foam roller and if you are sure remember R.I.C.E. Rest, ice, compression and elevate
