Sky Sports 1 will be the home of all Thursday & Sunday games.

Channel 4 will be showing all Sunday night/early Monday morning games.

Eurosport 2 will be showing all Monday night football. Coverage of the Giants @ Lions will be live on Eurosport 2 from 00:10am. This will then be followed by the Chargers @ Cardinals game at 03:20am.

Wouldn't be confident at all about the 49ers, the team seems in disarray. I'd like to see them take a stand and at the very least not activate mcDonald for this one.

Really hard to know where they are at. Could be pretty ugly for a while but I think they'll get the job done eventually. All the other predictions are really based off last years form.

Interested to see how the texans do, Titans will get the win i think but it'll be Locker/Hunter combo that wins it and not the D.

Saints are in for a tough test but should get the win

Texans pass rush will be unreal.
I change my mind every day on the Jets.
If the 9ers weren't playing the worst team in the league they would be 0-1.

Cowboys are hardly the worst team in the league.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,301 ✭✭✭padraig_f

Opening game is good, and a few nice divisional matchups on the Sunday...Ravens-Bengals, Patriots-Dolphins, Saints-Falcons.

The Bears have a tough schedule this season and the Bills at home is close to their easiest game, so important to get a win.

There D is going to be so porous that they may well end up with a top 5 pick. Incredibly unbalanced between O & D. The o-line is very solid, they have a good bunch of receivers & Murray should be a good RB. Romo will play really well 95% of the time.

The D however just looks awful. Outside of Melton their is nothing on the D line & they may have a non existant pass rush and a very weak secondary.

Derek Carr announced as new Raiders starting QB. A sensible decision as he has looked better than Matt Schaub, but Rex Ryan must be loving the opportunity for his defense to come up against a rookie in week 1.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 5,014 Mod ✭✭✭✭GoldFour4

Excellent decision from the Raiders, Derek Carr has looked like the best of the Rookie QB's so far anyway. Very interesting to see how he gets on against Ryans defence. He's going against Geno Smith though so at least he won't have to worry about getting to 30 points. (probably!)

even with the Jets depleted secondary, I think Carr is going to be in for a very difficult start to his NFL career, Rex is going to be given him some awful looks and the d-line will hopefully feast

Over 46? Would you not expect it to be a low scoring game while both offences find their feet early on in the year?

Nah, go to work, avoid all media and any potential texting mates on Friday, and enjoy it in full Friday night after work! Condensed view is great at times but this game is a monster and demands a proper full view.
