I've a pretty large extended family and some members in it do not get along at all - to the point of not even talking. My mother doesn't talk to an aunt, is only cordial with another. Another aunt doesn't talk to her brother nor his wife who is also my aunt. Confused?:) So i'm just wondering is it common for some families…

I'm from a small family and used to be very close. Since I moved away we're not in touch as much but they're great.
I'd hate to fall out with family members as you have to see them at family functions.

Actually it's great falling out with family because then you don't have to bother going to all those family functions.:D
