Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What annoys me about the whole thing is the way the President at the time was represented by her Aide de Camp at the funeral.

She was a nobody who did nothing for her country and had no worthwhile notoriety.

And then no representation at the funereal of apprentice plumber Anthony Campbell, caught up in marlo hylands killing around the same time.

Why are people even talking about this still?

Model dies of drugs induced seizure shocker. Not entirely sure what the big deal is. Is being pretty suddenly so important?

Dont mean any disrespect to the girl but its not as if she was anyone important.

And there seems to be a big witch hunt to find out who gave her the drugs.
She probably asked for the drugs in the first place.

She had between .2 - 4% of whats considered a lethal dose (.8g) of coke (actually only .1% of a fatal dose) and a half glass of wine, that clearly is not some kind of junkie overdose. All the people up on their high horse with this 'live by the sword die by the sort' stuff might consider the near lethal doses of the drug alcohol they consume at the weekend, I bet it's higher than 4%.
Her exact cause of death is not known. The very long delay getting her medical attention is undisputed.

What makes her death so important?

    No probably about it.

It would not kill her family to have acknowledged this fact.

Didn't she also have antibiotics, contraception pill and cough medicine, maybe the combination of those with the wine and coke didn't agree?

Afterall is was that cough medicine that made Anthony Lyons attack that girl:rolleyes:

Reality can be a harsh mistress.

But of course it can never be mentioned when hob-nobbing it at a dinner party that ones daughter fraternised with scumbag drug dealers.

how did cocaine kill her when she reportedly had only 0.8mg in her system?

cocaine is sold by the gram and one gram has around 10 lines of cocaine so 100mg a line how can you even ingest a line as small as 0.8 mg?

    doesnt make sense to me?

It is not known what killed her, it could be unrelated to the tiny amount of drugs, it could have been a pre existing condition.

They have, their problem is with the delay getting medical attention and means of getting medical attention.

Sure it was probably only 10% pure by the time she bought it with the crap that's sold here.

Really don't get the weird begrudgery going on in this thread..."two lads died of cocaine the same weekend...no mention of them...etc"

She was a famous model who courted the media up to the point that she died, of course her death was going to make and stay in the headlines, unlike some unknown people who died in similar circumstances, welcome to planet earth, this is how it works. It doesn't make either death any more or less tragic, the pain is the same for all of their families.

The woman is dead and buried, the only people the vitriol directed against her can harm is her family and friends, who lost their young daughter during the prime of her life, in the most tragic of circumstances which have not been fully explained by the people who spent their final hours with her. Of course they'll have some gripe. Of course the media will be more interested in their gripe than that of an anonymous family.

Is that her fault? She took drugs, she died as a result.
She's the one who lost here.
