Yet another update that doesn't involve the daily hack :pac:

I don't think it photobombed once either :p

Let's crack on anyway :) my 166 got some attention this afternoon. First, re org of the toolkit
    Image2364.jpg

Am I missing anything? There is a slot or 2 free....

Same crack with the exhaust tip: I cleaned it up :pac:
    Image2366.jpg

    And the engine
    Image2367.jpg

    Therapy at its finest

Then the interior... I missed some snaps but an example is the centre console

    Before
    Image2368.jpg

    After
    Image2369.jpg

And a good clean outside to finish her off :)
    Image2370.jpg

It's not 100% but much better than earlier today. When I have the time, I'll whip out the front seats (and the engine when I get the bits I need ;))

Will stick the buttons either side of the lighter in the factory locations. Might get some factory buttons now I think of it.

:O definitely, if factory switches are available, always factory.

I used the half decent weather to wash the countryside off the mine and mrs Nissan docs cars and make space in the garage for project 500:D

Yeah it's usually at the front on full view for a quick getaway in the mornings :D

The rest reside within the yard, there's a minimum of 5 cars there ;)

Changed the rear lights on my focus to LED ones from an ST. Very impressed with the outcome:

    Nice mod!

Got them off ebay for 93 pound. They were slightly damaged from a fire in a garage but they work perfectly and considering Ford are charging over 250 euro just for one side they are a steal!
    Nice house!

    Thanks :D

The back right brake is sticking the odd time in my 156, you can hear it rubbing and a quick tug of the handbrake and it goes away. May have to get my inspection hammer out!

Hard to beat the American Adjuster alright :D

Not my car but I just changed the battery in my mam's Mazda 6.
She left it to sit up for three weeks and didn't think to ask me to start it while she was away, clever.

Did you have to change it?

Surely a boost and a drive would have done the job?

That's what me and my dad suggested but you'd have to know my mam, total worrier.
Another example, I changed the Internet security from WPA to WEP while they were away and was woken up at 7 this morning because I "broke the Internet".
Sure, if she wants a new battery that bad, I'm not gonna stop her.

If only she knew how easy it is to hack WEP she'd be panicking about that too!

My DS (nintendo, not citreon) won't connect to WPA, it's too old. There's only 60+'s in range anyway so I'm not to worried. Haha

    Changed my Corsa C interior.
    Now all blue.
    Changed:
    Window switches,
    Dashboard lights.
    Radio backlight
    Lighting controlls.

Didn't know speedometer dis-assembly is such pain in the ass, especially aligning arrows after putting back together.

    To Do:
Order and make a heater control lighting.
Change interior standart lights from yellow to white.

Took me 5 hours, but well it was my first time dis-assembling so much, had to take steering column panels off, and pretty much 70% of interior on drivers, side.

Its as near as mint as possible I'd say.

Good points: 2 owners from new, genuine 23k on the clock, all original and undamaged, completer with original sales reciept/PDI report/AA membership, 4x original tyres etc

Bad points: Needs 1x headlight(silver gone off reflector), 1x side indicator(missing) and just got a second hand rad for it(cheers DGT by the way) as the original one was leaking and the reg in the alternator is gone.

Because of the rad and alternator issues the owner left it with us to scrap but it was just too mint so I'm going to do a little tidying and then lock it away in the garage.
