Thanks! I saw an ad on RTE introducing it as a new series, and all the clips are from S1 so looks like Season 1 it is.
I was nearly sure it did already air on RTE last year as I had been downloading it before anyone over here announced they'd be showing it, and when it was announced around this time of the year I remember thinking I may as well finish it on download as it was well in to the US airing of it.
But maybe I'm mixing it up with The Good Wife the year before ... or Channel 4 :pac:
Thanks for getting back on this. Sky says episode 1 season 1 too. I might record it just in case ... wouldn't be the first time RTE didn't have correct info on Sky.

Sorry I sound a bit obsessed, I missed the first episode of S2 on Channel 4 and by the time I went to look for it it was gone from All 4 app.

Not sure, but TG4 have a history of repeating old shows from start to finish. They showed a repeat run of every episode of Friday Night Lights, and then repeated it again when they reached the end!

I'd guess that they probably do plan to show every season, but it's only a hunch.

I don't know the answer to your question but you could borrow the dvd from your local library. (It would take a few weeks as you would have to order it and it would have to be sent to your local library from Dublin as only Dublin libraries seem to have copies.)
