That's seriously nice tea! Never like Barry's, but then again we never had it in our house. PJ tips and Lyons were what we drink, they're grand but McGraths from Aldi is probably the best! :D

I can't tell the difference between them. They both taste the same to me.

    Worse than the non-tea-drinkers!

    Barry's is Irish.

    Lyons isn't.

Also, Barry's use better tea blends and tastes a lot better.

Barrys is simply the only way to go!

Lyons or Punjana. Don't think I've ever tried Barry's. Wasn't bought in our house growing up. Dad used to say no way he was drinking Blueshirt's tea

    Thought Lyons was Irish.

It's my preference anyway - Barrys has a slight aftertaste I don't like.

Growing up we always had Lyons but then I ended up with a Cork man so now it's Barrys.

Lyons is like totes a little yukky, most other teas are like fine. but Barrys is like absolute amaze balls.

What's happened Mc Kinley's Gold from Lidl. That used be the best but I can't find it recently.

FTW, I love tea and plenty of it. But in a blind test I wouldnt have a clue. And in a non-blind test I wouldnt give a toss, onces its strong with a little bit of milk and a chocolate biscuit. And if you are totally into it, dont you need to differentiate between the blends such as gold or original? I have somewhat working tastebuds...and get the difference between teas that arent Barrys or Lyons, but for me they are interchangeable depending on the offer in the shop when I need them.

    Rampant flippant philistinism I guess.

My da works as a locum pharmacist. He goes in and checks out the teabags, then insists a shop assistant goes out and buys him a box of Barry's, I asked him why? "Just to be a b*stard, obviously".

Lyons is weak as fcuk. Of the two it has to be Barrys, although we just drink own brand Tesco tea in my house.

Punjana Gold. 2.49 for 80 in tesco and it's the business.

Barry's, one of the few Irish products I can not do without.

Barry's tea holding onto a marginal lead here.
I'm surprised, the majority I speak to in person are Lyons drinkers.
Every office I've worked in has been Lyons tea.
I bring my own box of Barry's to work.

You're surprised that people like different things to you?

McGrath's, Lyons, Tetley, Yorkshire, Punjana, Twinings. I'm not fussy in general but don't like Barry's. I don't get to Aldi very often so that rules out McGrath's for regular use, but of the others, I'll buy which ever is on offer, except Yorkshire which you can't get in Ireland.

    1 TETLEY'S Tea bags
    2 PUNJANA Tea bags
    3 BEWLEY'S Tea bags

Twinings earl grey, when I'm in the mood.

Has to be Lyons - the red one, although a guy in work was raving about the Aldi tea this week.

    Barry's all the way boy...

Not anymore. Was bought by Unilever a good few years ago, who are a British-Dutch corporation.

I'll vote Lyons a thousand times over, since it's usually what we'd drink at home and I was never a fan of Barrys.
