Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The first time I've had a chance to sit down and watch a GP in months and I've no signal for BBC :(

switch to the SD channel, I think BBC One HD recently changed frequencies if you're using a FTA box.

Puncture for Hamilton. I can see Rosberg getting a penalty.

    Racing incident.

Hamilton's ultra aggressive defending finally caught up with him.

    Rosberg playing nasty again

Exactly what Rosberg needed, show him who's boss

He had the racing line, that's all that matters.

Ah now. While that was a racing incident Hamilton has been well aggressive with with Nico all season and gets praised for it. Has to take the rough with the smooth.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,831 ✭✭✭dloob

Lewis needs to be more careful passing second tier drivers, not all of them are as good as Seb, Alonso etc.

If Red Bull were being ultra-logical they'd be putting Ricci ahead of Vettel to have a go at clearing Rosberg.

Lewis seems to be gettin a lot of rough though concerning Nico

    How do you mean?

Hamilton knocked bits off two cars in the last GP with similarly aggressive driving but wait til you hear the whinging out of him after this race.

With how packed up the the field is Hamilton could still do pretty well.

Ricci ahead of Vettel, can see that big grin at the top of the podium again today. :D

Again, let's swap the roles and imagine Hamilton gave Nico a puncture ;)

    Nico was totally wrong there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,806 ✭✭✭CFlat

That was some getaway by Ham at the start.

Ham kept the racing line. Ros turned in too soon. I don't think there was any malice by Rosberg but certainly not Hams fault.

    That corner shot :O

I think the second car was alongside enough for the first car to be mindful of turning in.

No word of penalty for Alonso yet?

    5 seconds at next stop

Pitting Kimi before Alonso? Rare bit of sense from Ferrari.

Hamilton is struggling to make any inroads on the gap to Grosjean.

    Raikonnen has woken up apparently.

Button to win :D would love to see him on the podium.

Just starting to really dislike Rosberg

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,806 ✭✭✭CFlat

    What a move by alonso.

I have been on that train since his stunt at Monaco.

If that 2.9kg per lap fuel usage for Red Bull is accurate it's 127.6 for the race. They're either going to have to freewheel the second half of the race or the reading are rubbish.

    Bottas you rebel :D

Jaysus, Bottas should be able to cruise past Vettel next time around.

Poor from Rosberg into the chicane it has to be said.

How long more can Vettel hold off Bottas

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,387 ✭✭✭✭Ghost Train

Wonder will Vettel eventually get penalty for running off track

Nico not doing to we'll with his setup

24 laps left, gonna have to stop again, why go hard again?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,641 ✭✭✭andyman

Why has Rosberg put on primes again? Surely he has 2 more sets of options?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,630 ✭✭✭mrsoundie

I can see Nico and Lewis being brought together for a chat, team first, you second.

What will Nikki (elderly fan) say?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,197 ✭✭✭christy c

Not great for fans for driver to be thinking of retiring less than 50% into race to save engine

    D. Ric putting in another great performance.

    His to lose I think.

Especially in a place like Spa where it could rain and everything could be up for grabs. Very negative stuff from Hamilton.
