Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can you not just use shift whilst holding altGR and press a vowel to get a capital letter with a fada on your keyboard? My laptop can do it...

Yup you can but I always get mixed up when trying to to capitals but it's just that with shift?

    You been studying the fadas?

I had an ancient keyboard in work for ages after the € keyboard came in, with no € sign, so I had to type euro in words everytime. I felt so dirty.:(

I just saw a thread where the person typed E1 and E2 when they meant €1 and €2. I have seen plenty similar and quite a few newspaper articles using the E instead of the €.

After 15 years of the Euro why do people still do this?
I either copy and paste the euro symbol from somewhere or I type EUR. The first wastes time and the second looks crude.

I'm using a laptop with American keyboard and couldn't figure out how to type the Euro symbol. I did figure it out some weeks back then forgot again. Now finally cracked it again: hold down fn and ALT and type 0128.
