I see a bit of value on Granada DNB against a domestically poor Atletic tonight. Granada are almost safe for another season but a win tonight would go along way (Blackburn v Liverpool...!) and they’ve a good recent record against teams in or around them, especially at home. Atletic nothing to play for domestically I reckon.

Sporting Gijón v Levante. Gijón have been on a poor run with 1 draw and 4 defeats in last 5. Levante will try to consolidate 5th position and UEFA Cup spot but can go 3rd with a win tonight, albeit momentarily. I think Levante at 17/10 is generous.

    Granada DNB evens.
    Levante at 17/10.

    Double.
Well butter me böllix and slap me fànny. Good win for Gijón mind you.

A bet i like for tomorrow and Wensday is as follows
Dundee FC v Qof the South - Dundee (-1) @ 9/5 - 3 of Dundee's last 5 games they have covered this and QotS are rock bottoms atm and have an away record in the last 5 of DLLLD, covering the (-1) twice
Rochdale v Sheff Utd - Sheff Utd (-1) @ 23/10 - Sheff Utd need a win here to keep in touch with Wensday, a bit of a dodgy one but with the form of Evans and the need to win should have a good chance
Wolve v Arsenal - Arsenal (-1) @ 6/5 - ok, i know Arsenal have not covered this away from home since the world began but Wolves are crap and have lost to (-1) in 4 of the last 5 occasions, the easiest pick of the 3 methinks
This comes in at around 20/1 with PP and should have a good chance :D

Feck Dundee anyways - would have been nice:(

    Delighted with that

    Treble:
Real Madrid 8/13 (Real have won their last 7 games versus Atletico home & away, they can't afford to slip up again with Barcelona breathing down their necks)

Man. Utd -1 (Basically Utd are on fire lately and haven't conceded a goal in 5 league games, they have beaten Wigan 4 or 5 nil in 4 of their last 5 games as well.)

Arsenal 4/9 (Have won 8/9 and are up against a side who have lost 7/8 and are the worst in the league)

    €35 returns €171.50

Feck ya United, back to my rule of not backing ya :(

    Fluminense v Boca Juniors

Draw in this one I reckon

Flum have already qualified, while boca have the worse team in the group in the last game of the round, so easy 3 points for them

Hating betting on draws but its worth a small stake of 10 euro

Just found this preview for anyone interested

Oh damn ye Utd and especially Rooney.
Had Man Utd and Arsenal both at -1 in a double at approx 3/1 but was most excited about a €5 bet on

    Ronaldo
    Van Persie and
    Rooney
all to be first scorers at 66/1

The other 2 lads came good, but Rooney let me down

Was hoping to Ibisevic wincast in Stuttgart v Bremen game tomorrow night but he's not available anywhere in goalscorer markets with PP. I've checked and he doesn't seem to be injured or suspended.. Anyone shed any light please?

Re: leagues. PP are very funny with goalscorer bets outside of EPL, SPL, LOI and La Liga .. arguably Ligue 1 too. B365 should have it though, but you can always request odds from PP.

    Q

When is that game on,any reason why a large stake?

I feel it's worth chancing at those odds tbh.

Villarreal have been a mess this season without Rossi, and El Magikal isn't a place to be feared anymore IMHO.

Seems Malaga are finally kicking on with the finishing line in sight and Champions League so nearly secured. They'll be going all out for the win.

Villarreal do draw a lot of games at home though it must be said so Malaga DNB @ evens is probably better value, also factoring Villarreal are still playing for survival.

The game is on tonight btw.

Thoughts, reactions, opinions, insults welcome on this...

    Small treble on...
    Sevilla v Real Zaragoza
Sev to win both halves 13/5

    S. Carzola anytime and Malaga to win 11/2

    Bologna DNB to win 4/7

Treble works out round 30/1

Hey just wondering if I could get some opinions/feedback on a potential bet on Liverpool v Everton!

Liverpool always raise it against big opposition and all that but Everton are in fantastic form

Everton will want revenge from that 3-0 defeat too even if it wasn't their full first side out! I think the prices on Everton are decent value ?

Liverpool's defence has been leaky lately think Everton over 1.5 goals is worth a shot, and having a 3rd choice keeper in goals is bound to be a major disadvantage at this level?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,264 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

I've got a feeling there'll be a good few goals. Over 3.5 at 11/4 could be a good bet, or both teams to score is 5/6

I've done Ibisevic wincast. Harnik or Cacau anytime anytime scorers perhaps. Stuttgart strong at home this season.

another double for the money. Liverpool and everton btts and over 2.5 goals in the Norwich Man City game. 2/1. Quite like the look of this one

edit man city win and over 2.5(result/total goals) works out better. 2.75/1 for the double

Will most likely to the following tomorrow.

    - Shamrock Rovers to beat Dundalk @1.25.
    - Southampton vs. Reading - BTTS Yes @1.66.

    - Both to win @2.08.
