Had to get a new 5hp outboard over the summer. Stuck a load of oil in the oil tank today and some did dribble. When started engine and went out there was loads of smoke. Is this normal for overfilling or have i maðe a bollox of things

Try and run it with fresh fuel it might take a few minutes to clear up if it doesn't do a compression test :(

Boating is not always plain sailing :)
