Tearaway and The Walking Dead Season 1.

I'm still trying to finish Guacamelee, but that last boss is destroying me every time.

Finished Knack and call of duty ghosts on PS4.

Just 3DS games at the moment! Just finished Luigis Mansion 2. Starting on Fire Emblem now.

Ok so I've had the flu all weekend so have had some time to do some damage to single player games.
Outlast and for my pain Aliens Colonial Marines.
I actually enjoyed Colonial Marines towards the end..Even if the AI and Story sucked. But for 1.99 you can't go wrong.

Now it's time to get into Tomb Raider.

  • Registered Users Posts: 903 ✭✭✭da gamer

    Zelda a link between world's 3ds
    Mario kart 7 3ds
    Luigis mansion dark moon 3ds
    Battlefield 4 Xbox 360

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,594 ✭✭✭Mal-Adjusted

Just finished Vanquish for the 360

The story was very bland, but picked up towards the end, gameplay was fantastic though. All the boosting and time distortion really make it unique for a 3rd person cover-based shooter.

Finished Tomb Raider and Luigis Mansion 2 in the past week or so.

Now the eternal problem of "what do I start now?"

Fire Emblem Awakening: One of the greatest games I have ever played it , took a bloody year to finish aswell , cannot wait for a future sequel If there be ever one

Finished two games so far this year, both on my Nexus 7:

    - Swordigo: cool little platformer, worked well on the tablet
    - The Room: puzzle game that everyone seems to have played!

Into the last level of Guacamelee on the PC and probably 2/3rds through Kingdom Rush on the tablet.

Ico, that was great. Although the controls got on my nerves a few times.

    Bioshock Infinite next.

    Killzone Shadow Fall
    Contrast
    Assassins Creed IV

    Working on:
    Metro Last Light
    Muramasa
    NFS Rivals

But I have a big backlog I should start working through.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,436 ✭✭✭Josey Wales

I'm adding to my list for 2014.

    Guacamelee [PS VITA]
    The Last of Us [PS3]
Zelda: A Link Between Worlds [3DS]
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag [PS4]
    Ratchet & Clank: Nexus [PS3]

    Adding:

DmC [PS3] - I actually really enjoyed it. What stood out to me was the variety in the levels such as the boss battle with Bob and the nightclub levels.

    Finished;
    Tomb Raider: D.E
Outlast (only about 5 hours long)
    Assassin's Creed IV

    Still to finish;
    Killzone Shadow Fall
    Battlefield 4 Campaign
    Knack

Finished Crysis 3 yesterday. Really anjoyed it, I'm a big fan of the Crysis games.

Flying through Far Cry 3 now.

Ever since getting an adaptor that lets me use my 360 controller on the PS3 I can finally play all the shooters on it properly.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 698 ✭✭✭sin0city

    GTA V
    Rain
    Remember Me

    Adding: The Last of Us
Although I've enjoyed the gameplay in other games more it's a technical marvel and in my opinion is head and shoulders above most other games of the generation in terms of voice acting, score, computer graphics and story telling.

Finished Resident Evil Revelations, Damn what a great game, I had forgotten how good resident evil games where.

It encouraged me to go back to play part 6, but after an hours play its still a boring mess with clunky controls, I stopped playing soon after.

Completed Hotline Miami last night on Vita. That is one hell of an addictive game. Gets pretty damn challenging as you progress but you can't help having just one more go so to speak.

Best €2.66 I've spent in a long time. If you haven't played this game go do it now. Not later, now!

Completed another two on PC during the week:

    - Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons: this was exceptional, a great gaming experience
    - Crysis Warhead: had this one for ages (got it a part of a Crysis bundle in a Steam Sale years ago) and wanted to get through it before starting on Crysis 2 and 3 which I picked up recently. Enjoyable for what it was, very similar to the original Crysis, VERY short, completed it in about five hours

Gonna start Mass Effect 3 this week, and then have to choose between Assassin's Creed 2 (never played an AC game before!) or Darksiders, both of which I've heard good things about.

I have a few posts in the monthly threads but just want to have an accumulated count going here. So far in 2014 I've finished:

    Zelda: ALBW
    Tomb Raider
    Hotline Miami
    Crysis 3
    InFamous 2 (during the week)
    Pokemon X (yesterday)

    Next on my list:

Far Cry 3 ( Nearly halfway)
    Bioshock 2 (Just over halfway)
Mario and Luigi: Dream Team (Just started)
Mass Effect 2 (Just started and expect it to take a long time)
    Resi 4 HD (Over halfway)

    Ratchet & Clank: Nexus [PS3]

    Adding:

Mass Effect 3: Leviathan - short but worth it to see the additional story.

    Mass Effect 3: Leviathan [PS3]

    Adding:

Mass Effect 3: Citadel - easily the best DLC for the game.
Battlefield 4 - a decent FPS campaign with plenty of spectacular moments. Also has a few amazingly terrible moments. My personal favourite is the line of dialogue explaining how
one of the team members comes back from the dead, 'I was ****ed, then I got un****ed'.
    Amazing.

    Zelda: ALBW
    Tomb Raider
    Hotline Miami
    Crysis 3
    InFamous 2
    Pokemon X

    Adding:
Far Cry 3 - Absolutely brilliant game, deserves the praise it received. Will try and 100% it, story is complete though.

Bioshock 2 - I really enjoyed this game also, it's often regarded as a weak entry in the series but I think it holds its own even if it isn't quite as good as 1.

From now on I'll be much slower at completing games, everything so far I had already made significant headway in. Starting a few from scratch now.

    Slowly but surely,
I completed Tearaway yesterday and what a lovely game it was too.
Probably the most beautiful game I've played in some time, as good looking as Puppeteer, and while since say short I found it to be the perfect length.

Actually i have Ghosts, exact same call of duty game as last year, and the year before that, and the year before that etc. I like to play games that actually have some substance to them, not a generic, mindless shooter like cod.
