Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Very foggy in Limerick so probably the same problem in Shannon

Seems to be diverting, or - being private - going back to STN?

Indeed it is. RVR's have dropped right down. The fog is in for the night I'd say. Although it never really cleared to be honest. Are some of the GLF5's not CATII? There was a GLF5 a few weeks back that had to hold due fog as well. He eventually got in when there was a break in the fog.

Well funnily enough the Gulf that was holding at SNN due to weather has come all the way back...but to LTN, just a few miles from myself. http://www.flightradar24.com/GLF5/4ee59a0

Was just out for a few minutes and fog's really thick in places. Any of the pros here give us an idea will the usual suspects (A320s and 738s) get in to Shannon, or is there minimum visibility requirements even with autoland.
Question somewhat based on the vid of the foggy landing in Dublin recently that mentioned something about decision height at about 50 agl.

Well shortly after the Gulf a Ryanair 738, Shamrock A320 and Speedbird A318 have been getting in no trouble.

And again this evening looks like it's heading way north. Pain in the ass for passengers having a 7.5 hour flight to Boston.

Better to dispatch with an MEL'able item than cancel the flights altogether. Cheaper for the company too, a bit extra in fuel but no hotel bills for all the pax.

    Edit: 747-428 so Air France?
