Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Grand form,

Home, showered and having a cup of tea. Have had a busy few days, myself and OH live in different parts of the country currently and I was visiting her. However she had things to sort and me being the generous (gonna sound whipped) eejit that I am, drove a couple of hundred miles around the place for her (she's working on a driving licence and lives in the middle of nowhere). So that knackered me, combined with two nights of sleeping on the couch in her parents place. She did keep me topped up with coffee, food, diesel and smooches so I won't complain, she's doesn't take for granted :)

Her mother is a cow on the other hand, but that's another days rant. :pac:

Looking forward to starting a work contract on monday that's gonna keep the body and mind busy for 4 solid months and can replenish my savings.

So that's my first form report in here!

    Great form...

Just got word that I won a nice bottle of whiskey.

A pal of mine picked me up a ticket to see The Cure in London at the end of March.

Work's been mental, but I'm heading out for pints tomorrow so that'll be great,

Good form, played well in a match yesterday, second game back and still way off the pace fitness wise but did most things well so hopefully a benchmark for the year to help me push on this year.

Sort of getting things together now.

I'm starting a course on accountancy next week which should hopefully improve choices to find a new job.

House hunt is still wrecking my head. But friend told me yesterday I can have her room as she moves out next week while I find something permanent for me.

    :)

    In fine form!

Started a business a few months ago, was about 4 months of long, long days and grunt work, then a few months of slightly more creative grunt work and being constantly broke, but I'm now seeing the fruits of it. Move into our new offices on Wednesday. Hope to be doing this for a long time.

Quit smoking in favour of these e-cigarettes about 6 months ago, feel absolutely fantastic. Anybody who wants to quit smoking with a bit of a slope should definitely give them a go.

And I met a girl, and she is fantastic.

    Bad form.

Living in a small village out in the country, no pub and no friends to go there with even if there was one. Long commute to work.

And today I have a sore back that's giving me hell.

    Great form.

Have been on holidays for the last week, with another 2 weeks left. I carried lots of leave for the last few years and was told to use it up. Went cycling every day - really enjoyed that, tried out a few new recipes which impressed Mrs Boobar no end.

Next week, I'm going to take my daughter off on a few day trips. Hopefully weather will stay dry.

Money is tight, but what the hell.

    Good form.

I'm off work tomorrow so get to take the little fella out to the park instead of the usual over-too-quick time between getting off work and him going to bed at his mother's house :)

Terrible form this evening which will spill into tomorrow.

The baby has decided she doesn't want to sleep in her cot this evening and would rather sleep in her buggy.

This means I have the pleasure of spending half the night on the sofa which isn't long enough to get properly comfortable on to sleep, followed by a full day in the office. I don't mind doing a share of the parenting but when the wife is off work tomorrow and will have the chance to catch up on her sleep while thebaby naps I will be a jibbering wreck in work. Tomorrow will be a day or red bull and lucozade.

    Oh joy

If your wife is off work would it not make more sense for her to do the sofa duty?

Was in a terrible bad mood last night for no apparent reason. Feel better now.:p

The mistake you have made there is expecting common sense to play any sort of role when dealing with my wife.

Chicago & Vegas for 10 days

So good form today :) Slight neck pain from the way I slept but had a good day of work yesterday, pilates seems to be helping my back so going to sign up for 10 classes when I get back

Chilling at home with some friends tonight and then down home tomorrow with my stuff packed, ready to fly out Sunday!

Bad form. First match of the season last night and we were embarrassed due to people just not trying and the coach making strange subs. Then I got myself sent off.

Think it might be time to quit. Not enjoying it at all anymore.

Work pressures relieved slightly today after a bit of time under slightly self-inflicted duress, also off on a stag when I finish up for the next two nights so good form I suppose, although I'm very apprehensive about how Sunday/Monday will go!

I presume you told her that as its an reciprocated love?

If so, sorry to hear that man, but fair fcukin play to you for having the cojones to do it (if thats the case)

Ive been in that situation before and spent waaaaaaaaay too long hanging on waiting for her to realise that they loved me too. Crappy place to be in.

    Think we all have...

Fair balls to you Aidan. I know I probably wouldn't have been able to do that. Feck it, I know I'm still somewhat 'down' over losing the friendship of someone I was very attracted to and had developed a real friendship with. Now it's been 3 months since we even acknowledged each other.

Sorry to hear Barna, could you take a few Friday/Mondays to make for some relaxing weekends? Always a winner when you're low on hols I find!

I'm in good form, Friday of Jazz after my first week back at work - I'm tired from it but the main thing is I've gotten through it!

Few beers tonight and hopefully a gig tomorrow and DJ set Sunday - Eton Messy are playing Cork and I'm excited to see them.

Physio on Tuesday also - my back has been giving me trouble again lately and for a guy of 26 I'm genuinely worried about what I'll be like at 46 so I'm going for physio, I'll request a scan if possible, I'll be doing whatever's required but I'm sorting out my back. It's annoyed me too much at this stage!

Yep, I could take every Friday off until Christmas break :D

But I was planning a very nice trip either to Chicago or Germany, which are now ruled out.

Might be a tight holiday but Germany isn't too far away, fly out Thursday evening, back Monday morning/afternoon, sleep then into work Tuesday. May aswell like! :)
