Ah, come on share the happiness..

    I'm single!
    I'm hungover.
    I'm grumpy.

    There is no happiness.

    ----

Ah no, fair play. I just miss how easy it was not being single!

Nice one OP. Always good when someone out of a long-term relationship and their heart broken finds love again. :)

5 years ago I was told I was going to be dead in 5 years if I didn't change.
I am now happier than I have been since my teens.

Oh I like how this thread has gone -

    Lets see, five years ago
I was in a relationship that I was happy to be in, working a job I hated, was aimlessly going through life with absolutely zero long term goals or even drive to better myself, was probably drinking WAY too much and not really looking after myself in general--

Now - Basically the opposite of all of that!
Single, but generally happy I guess (hangovers worn off now)
In a job I like, with a wealth of experience from a previous job (after the one I hated), have a large circle of friends or several circles of friends, have a goal in mind and am well on the way to achieving it, look after myself well and am fit and healthy.

    Deadly.

I'm looking up repisee and I got nada?

    Reprise?

    Could you rephrase the question?

I'll assume you mean, what was the reason for my turnaround in the thread? Spiritual's post about five years ago being told they would be dead in five years and how much that's changed now :)

You mean there is the possibility I have created a new word (are words created),

but I do understand your reasons.:)

On a hangover day, I can be an emotional rollercoaster - bitter and grumpy, or Alec Baldwin when he guest starred in Friends.
Right now I'm the latter. Life is good. And relatively speaking life is great when you consider how bad it could be.

I don't know what I was doing five years ago but happy for you op.
I've never met "the one", not even come close but I'm happy with my lot in life at this moment in time so long may it last.
    :)

Haha i thought that too, but there's just no way!!
If it was recipe then my answer made zero sense!

And to answer it if it was, the recipe for changing all that was copping on and not just coasting and getting by. Growing up a lot too.
