    Coming home on a cold day, happy in the knowledge that I've got something in the slow cooker, ready to eat.

    Cleaning the lint off the dryer filter, and it comes off in a sort of intact sheet.

    Leaving home for a run in the dark pre-dawn and having the dawn light slowly join you for the return home.

    Hot tea in the street on a cold day.

    Anything with custard.

    Watching a 2-3 year old learning to kick an adult sized football, or the kiddie sized hurl and sliothar, for the first time. Both the enthusiasm they show in learning, and the technique they eventually discover, are both hilarious

    bus comes along unexpectedly sharp-ish
