Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Nice product advertising from Judith with the Manuka Honey last night. Half expected her to turn to the camera and say "Manuka Honey is available in five delicious flavours for all your health needs. Benefits include ...."

She could get together with Yvonne who does the voice overs for Danone Actimel and Wayne does Strepsils ! Mind you, if everyone took Manuka honey they wouldn't get sore throats and Wayne could do more scenes in FC !

When Val had that Easter egg tonight it reminded me exactly of the scene she had in Father Ted eating the egg! :)

Do Ingrid and Neasa look quite alike or is it just me?
Next up -> a storyline where it turns out Neasa was actually adopted and Ingrid is her real mom.*

*If any FC writers take up this story then I demand commission. In fairness it couldn't be much worse than the current storylines. :pac:

Great advertisement for Spar in Phelans shop, could it be any more obvious!!

    I should hope so.
If you pay almost a million for an advertising deal, you'd defo want plenty logos all over the shop (literally)

Ingrid is like Nessa's twin sister. How badly did Dearbhla do in the mocks? Did she fail or just not do as well as she usually does?

So obvious Christy and Val will get together

Came back to Dublin last night, and whose voice is on the radio? Only BOB from Fair City doing "Late Date". What a terrific welcome home to hear his dulcet tones at midnight of an Easter morning.

Is he not on Fair City anymore?
I never get to watch because of stupid RTE Player not showing it online.
He's actually quite good on the radio. Sexy baxtard.

Bob is still in Fair City, he's brilliant in it, such a rogue!

I think she failed... I don't see where they ate going with that story either? Or why they are still making a big deal of it

She did better than Caoimhe did at acting classes...

Fair City would have us believe that Caoimhe, the ditsy clutz, is suddenly an academic genius... ?? This is not consistent with anything else in her personality..

I think she failed them all except for Irish.
I don't mean to be mean to Niamh here but is she pregnant? :o Just a few shots in The Hungry Pig that make me think so.

Yes, she's been continuously pregnant for the last two years. Paul, the dozy git, hasn't even noticed. :pac:

Btw, I missed a few episodes, what happened with Niamh's job? Does she still think she's off to work in Manchester after her failed email and Paul's successful one or has that been sorted somehow?

Poor Carol :( I don't know how she restrained herself when Ingrid said to her "I'd wait until he calms down before you apologize to him" Cow!

He's still upstairs studying, should fly through his exams at this rate, if he doesn't suffer from vitamin D deficiency first!

So Ingrid wants another baby - what's the betting she wants Louie to father another child with her?

I think Louie and Ingrid will fight Carol for custody for Jack together and given Carol's past and history they will stand a good chance unless Carol tricks Louie into taking coke :p I still hope Jack turns out to be Christy's son and then Louie can f*ck back to America with Ingrid and the kids

The problem is more Carol that Louis really. In any case it's a totally boring plot.

I reckon Ingrid's marriage will end soon, leaving her free to return to Ireland very shortly.

They need to shift Louie or Carroll out to pasture. I think this will happen because in soapland you cant steal someone on their wedding day and live happily ever after . Thered be no lesson in that . I reckon it will not all end well in McCoys.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,495 ✭✭✭✭eviltwin

I like Ingrid....hope she comes back and splits Louis and Carol up. Carol is not right for him at all.

Was it determined that Louis is Jack's father? I thought there was a chance that Christy could be the dad.

Yep, Louis is the dad. They got a paternity test and before they opened it Christy decided to let Jack stay with Carol and Louis and to not open the results of the test.
Louis couldn't resist and opened it anyway and it showed him as the father.

Thanks DeepBlue, there goes my fantasy story where Carol and Christy get back together :)

Ah really, part of me was hoping that Christy was the dad and that it would come out in a future storyline.....just not a fan of Louis. He needs a haircut!!

I would say Val and Christy will get together and adopt Shaun and live happy ever after in Spar.

If you think Louis has a bad hair cut see the movie King Arthur with Keira Knightly,he has very long hair and gets killed with a arrow while spying in a tree for the Saxons.

    Lucy is wrecking my head...

Did anyone notice Louies crazy face and floating head when looking at the pictures on the sofa with ingrid. He is so wooden .
On a lighter note I loved how the younger dylon girl waltzed into the shop with shaun , it was like something off a musical . I was probably the only one that noticed these things though.

There's been a couple of vaguely humorous lines tonight. Makes a pleasant change.

    "Yvonne wouldn't trust Ghandi."

So Ingrid and Louis dont want anyone smoking infront of or around their kids but Louis doing coke was ok  really sick and tired of Louis and his holier than thou attitude

Anyone find out what that bird Wayne is mad about is up too? Do the writers even know..

Carol told Yvonne that Ingrid took cocaine. It was Louie, not Ingrid, who took cocaine. It was never suggested before that Ingrid did.

Louis knows he made a mistake by taking coke. He just doesn't want his children to make the mistakes that he and Carol have made in their own lives.

I thought Louis told Yvonne when they were together than both him and Ingrid did coke

When carol opened the door to louie from Yvonnes flat a door to the right could be seen towards the hungry pig could any 1 shed any light on this

leo gonna be get with charlette mother

It seems like that might happen, but it'd be the most ridiculous pairing ever. Wouldn't work at all.

Could provide more drama for Charlotte and her friend who isn't Rachel. (What is her name? Been in the soap for weeks now and I haven't a clue!)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,585 ✭✭✭✭Lady Chatterton

Esther is so feckin smug, I really wish that Charlie saw sense and called off the wedding. I think he would be much happier with Bella and Cass :D

Charlotte is biggest little bitch ever! Great acting though. I actually want to plant her one.
