Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So we can take it then that you have not read the Lisbon treaty?

UK Cops to be issued with 20,000 stun guns. These non lethal weapons will be the perfect tool for quelling civil unrest during this upcoming "New World Order"

If you are business minded, invest in shares from the US manufacturer Tazer INC. as their shares are set to boom as hundreds of police forces from around the globe will follow suit.

Stun guns aren't used for civil unrest, they have hoses and tear gas.
But you're right police should only have lethal firearms or archaic clubs to defend themselves.

So then why is it a bad thing to give them something safer, less violent and more effective than a fist?
Or is it just the usual everything the government does is a conspiracy?

Any comment on the fact you haven't read the Lisbon treaty?

Opphs! Doubts now emerge as to whether this will occur
it emerged a senior cabinet minister expressed reservations about extending the use of Tasers when working at the Home Office.

Gosh darn illuminati can't get decent lackies these days.

And it turns out police unions are opposed to the measure. Eh! Whats that about, you used to get a better class of jackbooted thug in the old days.

Yet you'll condemn the character of the entire jewish racial group.

It's irony on a base level but I like.

Mahatma, you're basically saying that it's acceptable for you to make a derogatory and racist comment about the entire jewish racial group, but it's unacceptable to post a gif that makes a mockery of someone's paradoxical views.

Look its Irony on a base level but I like it.

What the OP of that link you provided did is merely stating a FACT and has posted it inthe wrong forum. I expanded on it to bring it in line with the EU takeover.

I consider it a part of the Big Brother EU/NWO Conspiracy so I thought it would be appropriate to include it here.

    BIG BROTHER ALERT !!!

    2nd December 2008

NWO Cyber Police to be inaugurated.

Big Brother Will Conduct Remote Searches On Your PC

    cyber%20police.preview.JPG

The NWO is taking steps into searching out cyber criminals

Remote searches of suspect computers will form part of an NWO plan to tackle hi-tech crime.

It will also encourage better sharing of data among member state police forces to track down and prosecute criminals.

Big Brother will co-ordinate the investigative work and also issue alerts about cyber crime sprees.

Data share The five-year plan won the backing of the foreign ministers at a meeting which also granted 300,000 euros (£250,000) to create the system to pool crime reports and issue alerts about emerging threats.

The ministerial meeting also backed the anti-cyber crime strategy that will see the creation of cross-border investigation teams and sanction the use of virtual patrols to police some areas of the net.

Other “practical measures” include encouraging better sharing of information between police forces in member nations and private companies on investigative methods and trends.

Forces will also take part in “remote searches” and patrol online to track down criminals.

I've read over that page, and as per usual it doesn't have any of those details on it. Maybe you posted the wrong link?

Do you just copy paste articles and replace EU with NWO?

    Couple things you left out:
"In particular the strategy aims to tackle the trade in images of children being sexually abused. In a statement outlining the strategy the EU claimed "half of all internet crime involves the production, distribution and sale of child pornography".

"The strategy encourages the much needed operational cooperation and information exchange between the Member States," said EC vice-president Jacques Barrot in a statement.

"If the strategy is to make the fight against cyber crime more efficient, all stakeholders have to be fully committed to its implementation," he added."
It should be noted that neither of the other two articles have nothing to do with the first one.

But tell us, why is increased cooperation between international police forces a bad thing? Especially when some cybercrime like child porn takes place between different countries?

The five-year action plan will take steps to combat the growth in cyber theft and the machines used to spread spam and other malicious programs.

I think this is the bit she's worried about.

What do you mean when you say suspect computers? Yours for instance?

Well there are 32 CCTV cameras within a 100 yards of George Orwell's old London Home.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,408 ✭✭✭studiorat

Yeah, 32 cameras within 200 yards and a population density of nearly 1,000 people in that space...
In the Shriji grocery store in Canonbury Place, three cameras focus on every person in the shop. Owner Minesh Amin explained: 'They are for our security and safety. Without them, people would steal from the shop. Although this is a nice area, there are always bad people who cause trouble by stealing.'

Three doors away, in the dry-cleaning shop run by Malik Zafar, are another two CCTV cameras.

'I need to know who is coming into my shop,' explained Mr Zafar, who spent £400 on his security system.

    privately owned it would seem.
What exactly is wrong with a shop keeper wanting to secure their premises?
The RAE report follows a warning by the Government's Information Commissioner Richard Thomas that excessive use of CCTV and other information-gathering was 'creating a climate of suspicion'.

    that's you that is...

So if you go in to buy a newspaper your every move needs to be recorded on the off chance you might do something doubtful.

How would you feel if your neighbour was filming into your garden 24 hours a day?

Not Really. Ireland has NO legislation, to the best of my knowledge on these cameras. How there used/who by/what the data is kept for etc. I'm sure somebody will be quick to pick me up on it otherwise.

Besides, I asked how you'd feel?

I wouldn't be happy with my neighbor filming me, not that I do anything in my garden anyway. There is a Garda camera accross the road from me, that can see my garden and probably my front room if curtains are open. It was installed due to constant vandalism along my road. Since it was put up there has been a huge drop in wing mirrors being kicked off etc. Even when that does happen they usually can catch the people who did it. I do mind a neightbour doing it because its just being nosey, whereas I feel the Garda one has helped my area.

But to walk down the street and be filmed, or in a store I couldnt care less.

One or 2 omissions from where you seem to have quoted this from.

I may be wrong, but here it is: http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/article-23391081-
    details/George+Orwell,+Big+Brother+is+watching+your+house/article.doa couple of highlights:

"Orwell's view of the tree-filled gardens ("CHALK AND CHEESE"??) outside the flat is under 24-hour surveillance from two cameras perched on traffic lights. The flat's rear windows are constantly viewed from two more security cameras outside a conference centre in Canonbury Place."

    Also,
"This week, the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAE) produced a report highlighting the astonishing numbers of CCTV cameras in the country and warned how such 'Big Brother tactics' could eventually put lives at risk. The RAE report warned any security system was 'vulnerable to abuse, including bribery of staff and computer hackers gaining access to it'. One of the report's authors, Professor Nigel Gilbert, claimed the numbers of CCTV cameras now being used is so vast that further installations should be stopped until the need for them is proven."

Its the unregulated nature I have a problem with; Not people protecting their person/property. Besides I've kinda gone off on one here. Sorry for being off topic.

I should add to that my taxes being used to monitor me without justification; other than the "what-if?"
