Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

All I was saying was there's no point in begining it all up again, I wasn't aware not being able to log in in the aftenoon gave you the right to restart an off topic agrument when you could log on and ignore the mods request to let it go

Herein lies the reason that a forum for women is fraught with problems BGRH isn't - women can't resist a good old bitch

I agree wholeheartedly - this place is full of good old bitches. ;)

To describe myself, if John Prescott could cook & had two Skodas instead of two Jags we'd be very much alike (in temprament).

Judging for some of the responces here I'd be of the opinion that it's not just the girls that like a good old bitch fest

I never claimed to be mod, I just requested that the argument not be started up again in what was an otherwise fun thread, I don't think to much to ask.

One could argue that you're doing the same now.

i found that site thaed posted quite interesting, as it says that on the ones where you're much of a muchness, to think back to what you were like before 12, and what your personality was like then, as that's a better example of nature, and your true nature, than now, when you've learnt waht society likes etc. reminded me of a nurse in a nursing home saying that she'd heard that when you tend to revert back to your original personality, not the one you learnt to have for society.

    Morning ladies,

Ok personality wise here I am...

There are so many levels to me, I would be quite a complex person.

Out going , assertive and confident..

    Loving, Caring, Generous..

Sometimes I get a bit highly strung(that would be for about 3 days a month:o)

Apart from that I am generally good humoured, I have a great sense of humour and a dirty mind;);).

:( I offer my humblest apologies if my attempted humour was seen as disrespectful.

I merely meant that those with twisted undergarments in and around these parts (pun intended) might enjoy the freedom afforded by going comando!! Sense of freedom lowers tension and stress and would result in a lowering of the insanely high levels of bitchiness and backbiting!

(edit: not saying that you are involved in any of that now g'em of course)

I would never have though of you as self-conscious. Isn't always funny how people think everyone else is really confiedent? I'm quite outgoing but I have my insecurities. I've had people in the past say they're surprised when they get to see that part because I appear very confident.

Also, where did the phrase get your knickers in a twist come from? How is getting het up about things twisting your knickers? is it cos you squirm around? Very strange when you think about it!

Ah, sure at least youre being talked about. Notoriety is better than being ignored. My favourite defence of ignorant remarks is 'what would you expect from a pig but a grunt'.

I think I started the use of the word 'Ditzy' here. And I stand over it. Im ditzy and proud. All it means is I look at the world in a slightly skewed way, and I tend to see humour where others wouldnt. Not that Im stupid or fluffy.

KtK, I honestly am with you on thinking positively about oneself, I really am. In fact one of the things that gives me most pleasure is seeing myself and the people around me make the most of who they can be and take joy in their own gifts etc.
So a mix between Santa Claus and Monica from friends it is then. Well done, you did it in the end! :)

Whoever mentioned Pam Beesly from the American office; I'm meeting you later in the stock room.
