"Oh Brother" a short comedy based on a big mouthed eejit who tries too hard, and the poor girl who falls for his 'charms'!

We are producing a student film in and around D.I.T Aungier St. next Friday 25th November.

We are looking for two Irish actors to star in the film:

Male aged 18-24
Female aged 18 -24

We will be holding auditions in Aungier Street next Tuesday 22nd(TBC) and shooting will be on Friday 25th so actors must be available for shooting from 8.30am -6pm.

Stitches is an Irish Film Borad funded comedy horror about a killer clown who comes back from the dead to seek revenge on the teenagers who accidently killed him when they were kids! We need extras for some of our party scenes from Tuesday 29th November on. I think you'll find that in the movie "It", they didn't "accidentally" kill the clown when they were kids, they did it on purpose, so I would imagine that this is a completely different movie

I am a camera op & editor living in Dublin city center. I own and operate a Canon DSLR. I recently completed a short using the 5D mark II, 7D & 60D. I have an array of lenses to suit any situation. Another recent film I work on won best foreign film at an LA film festival.

I edit on a iMac 27.5" with Final Cut Studio, the adobe collection and Magic Bullet looks. I have worked on short films corporate videos and events.

We are currently studying Film& TV Production in Dun Laoghaire College of Further Education. As part of this course we must produce a short 10min drama.
We are looking for 3 male actors for this drama with an acting age of 20-28.

This film will explore & challenge peoples perception of the power of social networking & living a life online.....

Must be fit with some knowledge of Martial Arts preferred but not necessary as training will be provided.

This is a short prelude movie with an open ending for entry into the film festival circuit. There will be other actors and crew required but it's essential that the female lead is correctly cast as the movie revolves around her.

I am looking to get some crew together for a project due to be filmed in August.
It is a 4 part mini series compiling of 4, 10-15 min short film type episodes.
It potentially will be shot between Dublin and Kilkenny.
The story originally is about an abduction but spins off from there.
Dark theme with strong language and some graphic scenes.

I'm looking for some experienced crew including:

Sound Op ( plan to record on H4 zoom )
Focus puller
Make up and Costume

I will put in for funding but as it is, it is unpaid. Travel and food will be covered.

We're NUIM masters students, and producing a short film over the next couple of weeks.

We're holding auditions for parts this Tuesday (12th of June) at 7pm in Kairos Communications in Maynooth.

Shooting will take place on the 22nd/23rd of June. Most actors will only be needed for one of these days. Unfortunately, we can't afford to pay actors, but it might suit someone putting a reel together. We would be open to discussing shooting some further scenes for you, to add to your reel.

Looking for a male actor (mid 30s - ish) to play a junkie in a music video (unpaid, expenses for travel, food, etc. will be covered). Obviously must be able to look the part, with help of some make up, and be able to get into that 'don't give a f**k' character of a junkie. One day shoot.

We've an interesting and unusual piece of music, and a great concept to go with it. Skilled director, cameraman, editor and make-up artist already on board, so it's definitely gonna be a quality piece of work, with the actor featuring throughout. CALLING ALL ACTORS!

I am writing to you from Tilted Pictures, a film production company based in Dublin. We are shooting a short film for the Irish film board, for which we are casting many extras of different ages.

-Scene in a veterinary clinic: Main character walks through a crowded waiting room. We are looking for extras (45 yrs +) and their pets to be involved in the scene. They would be in the background, sitting/standing and waiting.
(M+F, 45+yrs, w/non-exotic pets)

-Street Scene: Opening shot of film. We are looking for two women extras (middle aged) in running gear to jog through scene. These fitness enthusiasts show more enthusiasm than fitness! Think upwardly mobile suburban mums with empty nests
(F, 55+yrs, not very athletic)

-Car Park: Two adolescent girls walk through and laugh at the main character
(F, 10-13yrs)

-Restaurant Scene: Two characters have conversation in crowded restaurant. We are looking for male and female actors of various ages (18+) to create a busy atmosphere.
(M+F, 18-99yrs)

We will be shooting these scenes between the 25th and 27th of July (specific dates to be confirmed for different scenes) in Dublin.

It will be a great opportunity to see yourself on the big screen, as this film will be present at international film festivals.

Hi

I'm looking for a film/tv/video project to edit. Any caliber, really.

I've recently graduated from a film production course and I have experience with Final Cut Pro and I know the basics of Avid. As of yet, I have only edited student films of mine but I have a passion for editing and would love to do more.

I am looking to apply for a course in Digital Effects next year so I need to get stuff for my showreel!

I also know the basics of After Effects if needed.

We need an actor with an american accent (or who can do a good american accent) for a corporate video on this Friday morning (17th August) in Carlow.

Actor needed male 23-26
A Dublin production company needs an actor to accompany a non-actor in an audition situation. It will take aprox 1/2 hour. The audition is primarily set up for the non actor but the actor will have a chance to showcase their talent and will be considered for the as yet uncast role.

Casting for Short film – Snatched.

Thriller

'A young Eastern European woman lured to Ireland by the promise of work and forced into prostitution by a ruthless gang is kidnapped from the brothel by one of her customers.'

Lead Roles:

Elena, Female, 20s.

Sergei, Male, Mid 20s to Mid 30s. Average/Athletic/Muscular build.

Anatoli, Male, Mid 20s to Mid 30s. Average/Athletic/Muscular build.

Victor, Male, 30-50. A vicious thug.

For all of the above roles actors will have to mimic an Eastern European accent. The ability to speak polish/Russian would be a huge plus though is not necessary.

Sheridan, Female 25 – 40.

Minor Roles:

Male thugs 1 & 2.

Casting will be in Dublin city centre. Dates TBD.

Remuneration:

Travel expenses will be covered. Food and refreshments will be provided for what should be a three day shoot. We hope to shoot in the final week of October 2012.
