Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The week coming is probably gonna be the most horrendous week of college yet. Although it will probably be a stroll in the park compared to some of the weeks down the line :pac:

most of the assignment deadlines will be gone after these 2ks, we can concentrate more on the project then, the last couple of weeks might be the worst, finishing the project design plus a couple of big assignments around the same time

What a week, today was an awful struggle trying to do research. Had to give up at around 7pm and just gonna relax for the night now. Back to the grindstone again tomorrow :pac:

Yeah, I'm just trying to understand how to read data from accelerometers, never mind how to put in on a cloud database. Struggling to wonder if it's worth all this

I'm having a wild Saturday night comparing the Message Passing Paradigm to the Distributed Object Paradigm... think I'll save the rest of RMI till the morning before it gets completely crazy altogether

True, I was referring to Sockets for message passing paradigm as they pass messages, RMI passes objects. He said no RPC but later mentioned RPC just for comparison? Not sure, main focus is on Sockets, RMI, CORBA, SOAP, REST, I think code is only needed for first two?

Your GPA will be a bit skewed as it is the average of 6 modules even though there is no mark for FYP design. Divide total by 5 to get a better idea.

We might be able to 'break' in the evenings now that we have the days free to plough through the work. Hopefully all those Linux commands will do all the things they're supposed to do :D

The exam timetable doesn't look too bad, a few extra days to study, it'll be nice to get the 70% DevOps out of the way first
