    Ya wha?
A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear

Europe is being sold down the river by its elite

In fairness at this point we don't. Tomorrow or the day after we will and in all likeliness todays pointless speculation will be proven correct.

In all these situations it's best to wait for certainty. Probability isn't enough. I just hope the police in Paris get on top of and end these situations tonight.

They die for their beliefs , while the West won't risk one solider getting injured and avoid putting men on the ground to take them on face to face.
They will always win if the West won't go in and occupy them! INVADE AND CONQUER !

RIP to those who passed away tonight. Horrible thing to happen.

A little respect would be a great thing.

Of course they won't integrate. You are an infidel after all. The British security are doing an amazing job preventing such an attack since 7/7.

I just said that, can't believe they've been so lucky (or skilled) to escape such attacks. So scary to think you are out enjoying a meal or a drink on a Friday and this happens

    http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/nov/13/tyranny-has-gone-kurds-and-yazidis-celebrate-recapture-of-sinjar-from-isis
The white battle truck roared through the rubble-strewn centre of Sinjar, its improvised armour scraping against the asphalt, bomb-laden drums bouncing and a screaming gunman shaking his rifle at the sky.

“We have killed all [Islamic State],” the Peshmerga fighter said of the enemy that until hours earlier had aimed to use the truck as a suicide bomb against Kurdish forces. “Victory is ours. Sinjar is ours.”

By noon on Friday, the Kurdish Peshmerga had claimed full control of Sinjar, a city that had come to define the war for northern Iraq since it was seized by the jihadi group 15 months ago.

The fall of Sinjar laid bare the depravity of its conquerers, who killed or enslaved the Yazidi community that had lived here for several thousand years and forced survivors to flee to the ridgeline above. It exposed the shortcomings of the Kurdish forces, who had been tasked with protecting the city but retreated as danger neared. And it scattered across the Nineveh plains minorities who had coexisted since the dawn of civilisation but could not survive Isis.

Sinjar’s recapture appears to herald a new phase in the war. On the bombed streets of the city, a few locals had returned to inspect what was left of their homes. “It doesn’t matter that the house has been bombed,” said one man in front of his partly ruined home. “It matters that I can take my family out of the refugee camp. This is ours again.”

This is how you do it.

Political Correctness and integration didn't cause this. Extremism is caused by isolation and ghettoisation.

    I doubt its related...

France is the only country kicking islamist ass across africa and in Iraq when it can... their efforts are considerable and to be commended.

The rest of Europe sits on its nut-sack....

Britain talks tough but has no military left.

Instead of sending poxy drones to kill one fella Putin should just nuke the shít out of North East Syria and be done with these scum.

No he shouldn't. Much as I despair at the handwringing from some in this thread to simply destroy that area would be an act of barbarity, quite apart from the wider, non containable effects of nuclear weapons. There are also those in Syria, primarily the Kurdish Peshmerga who are fighting for a better future. Let's hope that they can be at least partially successful. Syria is one of the cradles of civilisation, though it may not look that way now, which was once part of the Greek sphere of influence, contributed to the body of poetry known as the Epic of Gilgamesh & whose cities (Aleppo is particularly mentioned) were praised in The Arabian Nights for their loveliness.

I'd bet anything that the culprits are French nationals.

Political correctness is a problem, as the race card can be played all the time and it will be our downfall.
The amount of people who think Islam is a race is ridiculous. Not being allowed to question the very cornerstone as to why these people do things like this? We are like sheep being walked to the slaughter house.

there are no politicians, nor political parties in this country who'd even think about standing on such a policy.

I suppose the closest you'd get here in Renua, but there is also religious nuttery associated with that too.

100% caused? No role for a violently hateful ideology? I have no doubt that social factors can be a contributory factor in people going off the rails but to absolve (as you appear to do here) jihadist ideology (which has had plenty of privileged, wealthy supporters) of blame is to engage in self delusion.

This wasn't carried out by any religion, this is a terrorist act.

Any Muslim I have ever met have been kind and caring and I can guarantee you that they are disgusted by these scumbags carrying out terrorist acts in the name of their religion.
