Ok, will have the tables up on website tomorrow.

But could someone tell me what happened to the Geraldine - Cill Dara match for this week?

It's down as replaced in the fixture list (if it was just not accepted it wouldn't be there now) but neither played a game last night?

Can anyone who has ran a comp, jeff or keogh let me know who to give points to? Cause I haven't seen that before.

Think there is some sort of mix up because I have only lost one game not two.I always accept my fixtures in time and presumed I had a bye week when my opposition did not accept

That was against Rath. L3mon5 said he accepted the fixture. There is a chance I got it wrong (I was only putting them in a week so I double checked all of them, but I freely admit I could have made a mistake) and had a random team inputted rather than your team but I have no way to check that.

If you can organise a friendly with Rath outside of the the cup I can count that instead (otherwise I don't know how else to account for it). It would be you at home (just to check your Dread0s right?).

I'll put it in the rules from now on but there are no bye-weeks in the comp, if you have a week off something is wrong.

Unfortunately I'm in the same boat. As I said, I think I did the fixture right but could be wrong.

I'm looking forward to when BR update the friendly comp system (apparently when the new ME is released :rolleyes:)

FRF beat Gideons 43-38 last night (damn FOTG) - won by the odd try in 11 :eek:

Gideons get a bonus loss point and a bonus try point (so its almost like a draw for them

)

It really annoys me. I knew I could win on normal against a league rival, but i wanted to get 5 points and deny him any so I LTNT. All was going well (but I knew what was coming) I was about 30-7 up with 30 minutes to go and well on top. Then FOTG kicks in match finishes 30-26 with him getting 4 tries (and thus 2 BPs). So my LTNT was wasted effectively because it was over effective. :mad:

In "Real Life", my team wouldn't have taken FOTG because they would have known that they needed to deny their oppo BPs.

Back OT, sorry I have been off the board for awhile so think I may have missed some fixtures due to confusion etc. I have accpeted whatever has been offered to me in the form of fixtures though..

I hate FOTG. Winning today 25 - 3 and knew once the conversion for the try went over there would be a big change in the game. Like clock work the opposition scored 12 points in less than 5 minutes and went on to win 29 - 25.

I didn't manage to score in the last 30 minutes was barely in there in the half and to add salt to the wound I didn't get a try bp but he did. Why on earth would my team go FOTG when there was still a try BP to be got maybe after that but surely they could put in a piece of code to stop going FOTG until then.

if try less than 4 then fotg = void.(ok bad coding but you get the drift)

This loss means I will find it very hard to stay up in DivIII as this team were also in the bottom two with me so back down to the Bots in Div IV.

Rant over for now but still P!!ssed :mad:

What I don't get about FOTG is that in the various discussions in the clubrooms seems to indicate turnaround frequency hasn't increased. But I seem to be seeing it everywhere...

I was 27-12 up at half time...increased it to 34-12...only for them to come back to 46-38 (their LTNT vs my Normal....)

FOTG...absolute BS...its really damaging to the game...what cant the devs see that?

One you thing you need to realise, the Devs will never admit there is a problem... they never do! frankly I think J has moved on to his new iphone app development and hasn't the time to do any br stuff. Something people don't also notice is the amount of penalties!! in most games there is over 20+ penalties, no problem there either they say;)

You'd imagine BR was a full time job for the devs, or at least for the team. Plenty of subscriptions being paid in, ads etc.
iPhone apps can bring in plenty of money, but it's a swamped marketplace at the moment, doesn't seem like they're moving to much greener pastures if that's where the attention is being focused.

Also Mar-z just noticed two teams (geraldine and cill dara) only have 7 matches in the table...what caused this?!

I mentioned it before I posted the tables up last week hoping for a reply.

The match between the two wasn't played but it looks like both accpeted the fixture. It was down as replaced in the tools tab.

From what I gathered since the fixure was set for a Monday rather than a thursday and noone noticed. When Cill accepted another comps fixture (Keogh is in a Monday comp as well) it replaced this one. I was thinking of trying to get a replay sorted but with cill dara playing Mondays that wont work. Atm I think I'll have to put it in as a draw as I'm running out of options.

Ah yes I remember that above now about the fixture replacement - just forgot! I was trying to workout my likelihood of surviving in Div 1...and so was looking at the other rows and was like huh?!

I'll input fixtures again next season since I'm an admin on it. jut give me a shout once you want me to help out:)
