Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That was a fantastic performance from Hutchie but impressive times from the top five and Hickman did really well to finish in the top five. I think that by spending all week on the Stocker he had a bit of an advantage today but that's not to detract from him one bit. Great to see General Lee get onto the rostrum and break into the 130 club too!

Went onto the grid before today's race so here's a few pics from there. I've left the island now so I think that full on post TT blues will start soon!

Hutchy is really flying this week. I'd say he's on for four wins easily.

Hutchy 1-2 for the win in the senior.............:O

Impressive! Every time I went to the TT I was always impressed by the sheer speed and sound of the bikes as they passed. It used to be particularly impressive during the early morning practice sessions at 5am (I was a marshal in the late eighties), you could hear the bikes coming from miles away. The rotary Nortons of Trevor Nation and Robert Dunlop were especially pleasing to hear on full noise.
That Kawasaki sounds wonderful, as does the current MV supersport (the "Italian national anthem" according to Roy Moore).
I'll never grow tired of road racing.

It's here, already, Senior TT day.

The best two weeks of the year started last night. Very fast times straight off, if the weather keeps up I can see records been smashed.

Sweeney and McCormack went well last night on the stockers, Bonner broke down on the first lap on on the super bike but put in two good laps on the stocker but broke down again on his third lap. Time to do it all again now. Hope its another safe session.

Dunlop obliterated all previous records with the first ever sub-17 minute lap of the TT course. He completed a lap of the 37.73 mile course in 16:58.439!

Unfortunately the real sad side of road racing has struck twice today.
Dwight Beare Lost his life in the sidecar race and Paul Shoesmith lost his life in this evenings practice. Dark weekend for motorcycle racing.

RIP Dwight Beare & Paul Shoesmith.

Hutchy setting good pace again this year, MD not doing well, the moly coated cam buckets was a terrible bit of luck and the gear linkage in the SSTK was just awful for him.

Watched it last night, some serious speeds on open road but there is room for improvement. He'll break it again shortly with the weather we're having.

Fog might slow them down the rest of the week. Superbike Friday hopefully decent weather.

Been a mega couple of weeks over here. Last year was my first time but have to say this year has been even better. The weather has been insanely good and the times have been mega quick. Hopefully we'll have a safe and fast senior tomorrow!

Looks like Cam Donald is going to make the move to Pagetts for the senior. Wilson Craigg packing up and heading for the boat. When was the last time Wilson saw out a season with the same rider from start to finish?

He 'seems' to be staying where he is.
