Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A 14 minute long "Final Fantasy XIII games are crap" joke. Think I'll pass.

The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.

"We had two bags of gysahl greens, seventy-five pieces of phoenix down, five hi-powered elixirs, a saltshaker half-full of smelling salts, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored hypers, tranquilizers, eye drops, echo screens... Also, a quart of remedy, a quart of holy water, a case of potions, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen antidotes. Not that we needed all that for this trip, but once you get locked into a serious item collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the the depths of an ether binge, and I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon."

I have a feeling the new Curation pages on Steam will be home to a few of these amusing blunders.

I miss the days of buying gaming magazines, everything's all online now... no charm left.

I remember the magazines costing in and around £10. Quite a bit of cash as a kid in the 80's and 90's.

Online is more accessible and free! To hell with your fancy pants charm :pac:

I don't browse the internet for upcoming games like I used to with magazines. Steam, this forum and maybe reddit are my only sources.

Speaking of magazines and the great things that came from them back in the day, this is Charlie Brooker back in his PC Zone days...

Nice little Retrospective of their golden days here too.

Holy crap. I never knew that 'the guy' who made the cruelty zoo and ate his own arse over Carmageddon 2 is the same guy that did screenwipe. Never realised it until now. Mind = blown

One hand washes the other. The more they help propagate this kind of thing, the more they get to write articles complaining about it.

Eh I only posted the pic for the LOLs. As much as I felt that I might have been opening up a can of worms let's save such discussion for the other thread.

I know, I'm not sure what you think I meant  My point was that they're re-enforcing this culture by facilitating ads like this and that lets them write more articles about the problem. I wasn't being serious though, I'm sure they don't directly control the ads on their site.
