Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Peanut butter and blackcurrant jam sambos. Get them inside you.

Peanut butter and banana sambos are deadly too. Very filling.

    I've never had one.

I just had what I thought was a great idea though. I was going to buy some jars of peanut butter and jars of jam, mix them together in one jar and sell them to people that were too lazy to open two jars. I looked it up though and it's already been done. :(

    I'm gonna make some.

    I wish I knew everything.

My wife kindly made them for me today after seing this thread. I had one today. Or should I say a bite of one.

    Nuff said.

I'm gonna smear the peanut butter on my snickers to use it up.

    I said snickers.

Chunky peanut butter, sliced banana and honey on toast is soooooo nice :D

Sometimes I just get a spoonful of peanut butter, a drizzle of honey and dip it in a bag of shredded coconut. Good when you are watching carbs (go easy on the honey)

    PB&J sandwiches = mank. They're so... soft. :(

Eating peanut butter out of the jar with a spoon FTW.

EDIT: Or spreading peanut butter on chocolate. Double

I had one, once. Some early hour at a house party when everything that resembled food was gone, other than peanut butter (which I hadn't tasted since I was a child - and I didn't like it at the time), strawberry jam, and some bread in the freezer which I painstakingly defrosted in the microwave and then cooled in the freezer. It took about an hour to make, but the results were frigging amazing!!!

An alternative that I've discovered since is cheese and honey on toasted bread. C&HTB sandwich. Couldn't recommend it more strongly.

Would you not just have toasted the bread?

No - cause then it would have been toast. You can't make a PB&J on toast!

I loved them as a kid and went through a phase at one point of eating a pb&j sandwich every day for a few weeks. Now just the smell of peanut butter makes me nauseous. Actually this thread is making me want to bleugh.

I prefer peanut butter on sliced apple.

    Not a fan of jam

I tried 1 out of curiousity not expecting much and was shocked!
it's nothing like you expect and just works, if you don't at least try it your a stocking and a half (unless your allergic to peanut!)
