Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Ok, fixtures are set. Leagues are set. Rules are the same, 4 for a win, 2 for a draw. 1 bonus point for 4 tries, 1 for losing by 7 or less. Failure to accept a gain results in a 20-0 5 try win for the acceptor and a 2 point deduction for the not acceptor.

    Unfortunately we've lost about 10 teams this season (and as a result a division) :(

    We've gained Stade Mudflingers (parachuted into Div 1) and Ponyo into Div 5.


    Div 1 Teams look out for fixtures input by Polk high. They should be for thursdays but will have to be earlier/later than normal as Polk High is in another thursday comp and can only add anytime friendlies to play as part of the Boards League. If he forgets then he loses the points!:eek:

    EDIT -fixtures are being added...get accepting them :)

    I'll look after league table for Div 3 again this season (i've grown quite fond of it over the past few seasons!)
    Westman is volunteering for Div 4 :)

    The boards league will have extra value this season with the "ME 1.5" being brought in. Lots of opportunity for experimentation!

    Yeah i saw this on some teams (me included) i need to try and fix this a bit to make it fairer next season.

    Didn't see the fixtures until now :( I'm going to post in last season's thread to alert that the new season's thread is up and running for anyone, like me, who is subscribed to the old one but doesn't browse the rest of the forum regularly.

    Great start to the season for my two team. Newcastle west beating fingal with a bonus point moving my record against him to 8-6. Also the Danny's picked up a bonus point win against ulster trial only my 2nd win ever. Didn't get to see them but I wonder did my zone tactics help.

    Also my mom with 2 tries is selling for 916k and I only bought him for 700k

    old tactics settings. new ones weren't released when I set mine. first use of new ones today....:eek:

    Be a shame to start the league with a default loss :(

    Crap. Went on to set my team for the first cup match but that was before the invites went out. Didn't dawn on me that it'd be starting so soon. In future we should try for at least a week's notice, though I know it's more a case of when people have time to put the work in to setup the matches.

    Problem is that the league finishes rnd 14, not everybody logs in prior to rd 16/new season rd 1 (some have no more games or dont care) or look on boards.

    Ideally I wanted to have the fixture up for start of Rd1, but a number of teams didnt respond to either BR mail or onto the signup sheet :(

    Even after waiting we still ended up a division shorter than last season

    Sorry didnt get to accept Michael Uhrmann fixtures by Thursday, wasn't online during the week. Ive accepted all the rest of the fixtures now.

    Ive also requested the anytime friendlies for the first 7 weeks so please accept!
