Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi
what you are looking for is a registered dietitian.
You can find one by contacting your local hospital, GP surgery or Primary Care Centre or by searching under the Find A Dietitian section on www.indi.ie . For limerick area I would recommend Catherine Norton of the Mid West Dietetic Clinic.

A nutritionist my not necessarily have the proper qualifications to advise you as there are a wide range of types of nutritionists out there with different qualifications. A dietian is a regulated health professional who has a Bachelor's degree specialising in foods and nutrition, as well as a period of practical training in a hospital and a community setting.
This page explains it a bit better if you are interested https://www.indi.ie/what-is-a-dietitian/dietitians-nutrition-experts.html

Dieticians are not necessarily superior to nutritional therapists, an NT with a qualification from any of the main colleges will be extremely highly trained also. If you look at the NTOI website they list all qualified NT's with their relevant specialties.

With all due respect what the OP is looking for is not necessarily a registered dietician.
