    Crazy. Rules are rules but that's taking the piss. And the previous hole where miraculously only one person saw someone pick it up and that was good enough.

    Same. I'm a big fan of his, but I really really hope he doesn't go on to win here... the galleries love him, it's not a big reach to wonder if a fan would say he saw his ball picked up to get him a break. Phil didn't take much convincing to take that call with both hands.

    And then how the hell does DJ lose a ball from 100 yards out. Couldn't have stayed up one of those trees.

    No one knows where Dustin's ball has gone.....that's incredible, with those gallerys, TV etc.

    ........and after he's hit a replacement, his ball falls out of the tree!

    Cool guy.......just ploughs on and makes the best of it.

    Phil got two favourable drops while in bushes because he was on a sprinkler.

    Embarrassing stuff imo but everybody giving him the plaudits now over his "astonishing" round.

    Not in my book. He's a disgrace.

    Phils behaviour tonight is disgraceful. He has had three calls in three holes earlier that were all ridiculous.

    Cant wait to see what he says after the round. Two sprinkler heads in hedges in two successive holes. yeah sure.

    I love phil, but today is a black day for him.

    two sprinklers in bushes and some guy picked up my ball that nobody saw, but it was on this tee box with a great line.

    Morally completely wrong and he knows it.

    even more remarkable was the fact that he got a drop on the very next hole in another ditch from another sprinkler.

    Has anyone ever seen a pro get a drop from the hay/hedge/ditch/**** saying there was a sprinkler in there? Neither have I. Your move Phil!

    Well first off it was just a bush not a forest. It just happened that the drop got him just outside the bush. He only managed to hit the ball 10 yards anyway after that. He even said himself that he knows he looks bad but he was standing on a sprinkler head so he is entitled to take a drop. Hardly a disgrace or cheating. Just taking advantage of an actual rule.

    Similar to football you can't flick the ball up to yourself to head or back to the keeper, you shouldn't get relief from a sprinkler in the middle of a jungle.

    Disgraceful from phil
