Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Mixing BCAA

    Hey all, got some bcaa's and they don't mix well in water, or taste all too good either...

    What do ye mix them with?

    What make/brand was it? Some are just rubbish when it comes to mixing.

    Berocca or some other effervescent multi masks the taste quite well.

    BCAA will eventually dissolve if you sod off and leave them for a while.

    I got some of the flavour drops from my protein but best bet is just to chug them as fast as possible.

    It's the leucine that doesn't mix a drop of lemon will speed up the dissolving

    Sugar Free summer fruits or blackcurrant take the nasty taste off unflavoured bcaa

    The myprotein "berry blast" tastes decent..

    I'm not getting a spreadsheet out to show price per gram of BCAA but they're alot more expensive than the powder. You also have to sink an unacceptable amount of pills to get a decent dose of BCAA.

    That link above, 2 pills gives you a whopping 1g of BCAA powder. So if you want 10g of BCAA you're going to have to stand there and pop 20 pills!

    You can buy empty 1g veg capsules online and DIY.

    With the amount of hassle/time in filling up empty capsules, I'd much rather stick it in a shaker, hold my nose and neck it.

    Well done, the OP can't though, capsules are an alternative.
