Blood spots in eggs

    Hi all,
    Just wondering if people have noticed an increase in these little spots in their eggs? Has something changed recently that there seems to be more, or is it a case that cheaper eggs are more likely to have them? Thinking back I'd come across them rarely, but in the last year or so it seems most eggs in the carton have them. I know they're fine to eat but I find them offputting and end up scraping them out. Have companies stopped filtering them?

    I eat non-organic eggs regularly and can't recall the last time I saw a blood spot in any of them. I wouldn't worry about it.
