The 2012 Boards PW Draft (Evaluation thread)

I'd like to introduce you all to my promotion, High Voltage Championship Wrestling. Emerging out of the rubble that was New World Wrestling, Johnny Volt has put together the new company and has appointed the one and only Eric Bischoff as the General Manager of the company's flagship show, Monday Night Wired. Bischoff, the man credited with the creation of the Elimination Chamber, is said to have a head full of ideas as to how to keep fans coming back for more, week after week.

When I heard that I would have a chance to work with some of my old WCW pals as well as others, I had to get back in the game. It's time to do away with PG, to do away with people being afraid of the sight of blood. Wrestling is about fighting to be the best and sometimes fighting gets dirty.

The roster is not yet complete but fans can get a sneak peak of the action that is in store with an upcoming house being aired in conjunction with Slick Wrestling Federation. So far, HVCW has secured the acquisition of former world champions Ken Anderson and Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat as well as other stars well acclaimed for their technical ability like Tazz and Lance Storm.

Monday Night Grappling is scheduled to return to TV screens in a matter of weeks. Much like a season of Dream Team, most of the cast are inexplicably gone but one old face remains - that of the straight-shooting Jim Cornette, last seen as the Commissioner of the organisation.

Amongst the changes this year, the headline show will be called Grapplemania and will take place at the usual time. There will also be an intent to broaden the company's global appeal by taking the talent to Japan for one of the weekly shows. The ultimate prize however remains the prestigious World Heavyweight Championship.




At a press conference today announcing the scheduled return, Mr James E. Cornette gave some frank and, to put it mildly, some terse responses to the journalist's questions. Here are some snippets of the Q & A:

Q. on MNG's performance in the ratings last year and being beaten by BWA and WECWF...

Listen, it was a bad year. We get that. Yeah we didn't get the feedback we would have liked but we are always looking to get better. Our owner is using his funds to bring in the best talent in professional wrestling and we are intent on improving our performance from last year.

Q. on relations between the BWA and WECWF...

We're like myself and tequila - we don't mix. Do I like 'em? No. Am I aware of them? Hell yeah I am. If they want to f*cking go to war then we're not scared. F*cking bring it.

Q. on HHH going to BWA...

Great. F*ck the son-in-law. He was a pain in my ass last year trying to take over the whole f*cking programme. Oh how will I cope dealing with his f*cking crybaby antics? Good luck dealing with that ego is all I'll say. I see Vince has gone and shown up on WECWF now. He's got history here too. Hope he has brought his clan of butt kissers with him. Ah let's forget the minnows gentlemen and concentrate on this here blue whale of the sea that we call Monday Night Grappling shall we?

Q. on why Shawn Michaels isn't at the press conference as scheduled...

Mr. Michaels I can assure you and all our fans in light of the recent controversy, is a signed up performer on this brand. I don't know why he's not here. I don't know if he's sulking or what. I do know he hasn't returned my phonecalls and I don't know what that sh*t's about but I fully expect him to be here on week 1 of our show along with the rest of our line-up.

Q. on what fans can expect this year...

This year we're going back to basics with more of an emphasis on the wrestlers and the talent. This show is going to be about wrestling. About trying to win. There will be no mention of social networking sites while our show is ongoing, we will not ask our fans to go on the internet and visit our site, we will ask fans to simply sit back and enjoy the show.

Monday Night Grappling's new season airs on the Boards PW network in a few weeks time, at 9 pm.

Friday Night Ignition
The show opens with IC champ Cody Rhodes and current tag team champs Ted DiBiase & Joseph Hennig and women's champion Natalya Neidhart making their way to the ring (the stable is known as The Generation Dominators). Rhodes takes a mic and talks about the changes happening in LWE and that all he needs to do know is add the world titleto his collection. He talks about being a former tag team champ and is the current IC champ and that he will be first to hold both the IC and world title at the same time. He says that since the world title is vacated after the brutal attack on former champion Christian who has been out of action now for 4 weeks the title should be given directly to the him tonight or else him and his stable mates will take matters into their own hands. He calls out the GM but they are a no show. Hennig takes a mic and says this show and promotion is dead without them, he says he is finally away from that ridiculous Michael McGillicutty name and no longer is in the shadow of his perfect father who he is simply better than, he holds up his tag title belt. Again Rhodes demand that he be given the world title belt now as there is no one else on the roster in his league. Ted DiBiase gets on the mic and says they are the best in past, present and future and if this promotion is too succeed the world title should be given to Cody or else he will buy the whole promotion right now and buy even the audience money is no object to him. Suddenly music is played and out comes tbc...................................................

The show kicks off with pyro echoing around the arena and we go ringside to the commentators who welcome us to the inaugural episode of the second season of CMW revolution.


The familiar ring of Teddy Long’s entrance music plays.
“Holla Holla CMW Fans!”

Teddy tells us that he hopes we are ready for all the action in store for tonight, he says we are going to see the absolute best in wrestling you will see anywhere in any universe tonight. Crowd pops

He said that in the back are some real animals, like a man who likes bees and even a Giant! Crowd goes a little quiet.
But I know exactly what you want to see. You want to see some wrestling action? ‘Crowd comes back to life’
“You want to see 4 guys square off in a tag team encounter?!
Well I got your number, playa! Lets get this going!”


Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel’s music hits as they enter the arena, they look smug and abuse the crowd on the way to the ring.
Generic commentator 1 and generic commentator 2 discuss the incident that took place a few weeks ago at the training facility.
Generic commentator 2 thinks slater and gabriel had nothing to do with it, but generic commentator 1 isnt so sure.

Teddy long announces “And your opponents are…”
Eric Young comes out on the stage and hugs teddy long. He seems to be crying.
“Thanks for this, Ted, opening the show is an honor, thanks again!” he says as he is drying his eyes.

And his partner…


Randy Orton walks onto the stage looking unimpressed.
Teddy turns to walk back through the curtain but Orton stops him.

“Teddy, I don’t know if you know this, but this is not why I signed with CMW. I was promised real competition.”
“This is competition Raaandy! This is your match for tonight and you will compete in it. In time if you prove yourself, you might have a chance to choose your opponent for Wrestlezone in a few weeks.”
Ortons scowl slowly turns to a smile as he faces down the ramp.

Orton climbs into the ring and is met with an overexcited Eric Young who throws up his hand to high five Randy. Orton just walks by and poses on the second rope.

The music dies down as Slater and Gabriel enter the ring.
Slater stays on the apron and Gabriel stands in the corner. Eric tells Randy “I got this!” and Randy shrugs and gets out of the ring and onto the apron.

The ref rings the bell.

Eric tries rallying the crowd by clapping. Gabriel locks up and pushes Young back. Eric starts to clap again.
Orton frustratingly slaps his back to tag himself in.
Eric looks confused and Orton steps in the ring. Gabriel attempts a lock up with Orton but he is just met with an RKO. Slater enters the ring and also eats an RKO. Eric, not having even left the ring yet starts celebrating. Orton lifts his arm to high five, but delivers an RKO on eric too!
He pushes Eric out of the ring and pins Gabriel in the centre of the ring and the ref makes the 3 count.

Winner by pin fall:
Randy Orton and Eric Young

Orton climbs out of the ring and while looking down the camera calls “Was that enough proof, Teddy?” and pushes the camera away.

-First commercial Break-

Part 2. The commentators discuss how formidable Slater and Gabriel were last year when they were part of the Nexus World Order and now they have been torn apart in the first night.

We go backstage to Big Show being interviewed by generic pencil neck, nervous looking interview guy.
Generic pencil neck nervous looking interview guy:
“Big Show, your first night in CMW, are you excited.”
Big Show:
“Oh yeah man, I cant wait to put on the boots and get to it. I’m here to be the best and nothings going to stand in my way”
Generic pencil neck nervous looking interview guy:
“In the past, you have been the largest man on the roster wherever you have been, but not anymore, how do you feel about that?
Big Show:
“You mean Andre, right? Well I’ll tell you the truth, I havent even met the man yet, but its going to be an honor to even step in the ring with him…”
“Hold up playa! You think your going to be stepping in the ring with Andre? Well you aint! * Show looks a little shocked *
At least not tonight. Oh no, I’ll wait for sometime special to have you two together.
Tonight you have yourself a match, but its up next, show!”
Big Show:
“Teddy, I’m not even ready…”
Long:
“Alright Playa, your match will be the main event.”
Show:
“Good!”

Teddy Dances as the screen fades and we go to commercial.


Back in the arena and Mark henry’s music plays.
As he walks to the ring the commentators announce that the winners of tonights and next weeks matches will be given points and in two weeks those with the most points will have a title match to determine the CMW champion.
The CMW Board of directors will determine how the points are distributed.

Kazarian’s music hits and the crowd pops loud.
Henry laughs as kaz walks down.
Kazarian and Henry begin to wrestle, henry gets the upper hand early.
Henry attempts a few big moves but Kazarian kicks and punches free out of each of them.
Kazarian kicks henry to one knee and tries to hit the shining wizard but henry moves and lifts kazarian up for a hellacious powerslam.
The ref makes a count but notices Kazarians foot is under the rope and stops the count. Henry gets up and intimidates the ref. Not noticing that kazarian has made his way to his feet.
Henry turns around and kazarian hits him with a series of kicks and then the wave of the future. He hooks the leg and the ref declares Kazarian the winner.

Winner by pinfall:
Kazarian

Henry gets up immediately and lays into Kazarian, knocking him around the ring before lifting him up for the worlds strongest slam. Kazarian punches and escapes the move and slides out of the ring as security and refs run to the ring to hold henry back.

Teddy Long music plays as he comes out with mic in hand:
“Mark, the match is over, if you don’t stop I’m going to have to suspend you.”
Henry calms down and Kazarian leaves the ringside are
“I’ll tell you what, next week, you and Kazarian will be back in the ring together…. * crowd cheer *.. In a TAG TEAM MATCH!”
Teddy dances some more as Kazarian walks by him looking unimpressed.

CMW commentators welcome us back as the announcer tells us the following match is the main event.
Big Shows music hits and he walks out to cheers.
Up next is Mason Ryan.

The ref calls for the bell and mason ryan runs at Big Show. The two big men exchange punches, Mason being forced more and more into the corner until he slides out of the ring to avoid a slap across the chest.
Big Show follows him out and the ref begins the 10 count.
Suddenly, the lights go out for a few moments.

They come back on and Show, Ryan and the ref all look bewildered.
The ref continues the count while show and ryan brawl outside.
4…5…
The lights go dark again, this time for longer.
When they come back on the ref is out cold in the centre of the ring.

The medic team rush down to check on the ref lying in the ring.
Teddy long walks out too and says that show and ryan will instead have their match next week and apologises to the crowd. Teddy says that there would… –He is cut off as he lights go out again, this time the screen shows words of
REBORN.. Next week.

The lights go back on and all around ringside are looking shocked.
This closes the show.

Miz: for the last coupe of weeks he has had that freak Abyss follow him around but tonight there will be no more running as he issues a challenge for Abyss to face Waylon Mercy is a no holds barred match.
Waylon states that he will be showing Abyss no Mercy tonight and Abyss is only lucky that he wears a mask already as if he didnt he would defiantly need one after tonight The Miz and Waylon Mercy bump into MR.T
Miz: Hey your that guy right, the guy with the famous saying
Mr.T: I PITY THE FOOL
Miz: No thats not it
Mercy: Oh its what you talking about willis
Miz: No thats not it eitheir thats not even close whats wrong with you man, Oh I know what it is its " get some nuts "
Mr.T: Your about to meet my friend pain
Miz: Hey just trying to help you out but if you are looking for some nuts then there is a guy here called Mr.Wonderful he has been offering his nuts to everyone in the locker room,

Miz and Mercy walk away as they do Mercy ask the Miz who was that the Miz says he thinks it is Booker T's brother
Pipers pit: Tonight guest we have Harlem Heat

Booker T : Before you even start piper if you even try anything like you did to Eddie last week then you will be playing those bag pipes from somewhere else other then your mouth
Piper: Ok Ok where clear I only brought ye out here to talk about yer upcoming Tag Titles match up at Revolution
Stevie Ray: Ya will man that is something we are looking forward.....
Booker T: We before you go any further Stevie I got to tell you bro that me and you have dominated that tag division for a long long time now but now that we are in CWA I have my eye on the Heavyweight Title but you know our man Ahmed is ready to step in at any stage
Piper: Oh seems we forgot to bring up some stuff around that family table so Marty Jannetty I mean Stevie Ray what you got to say to that:
Stevie: Sorry to disapoint you Piper but I will back my brother in whatever decision he makes and if he wants to go after JBL then I got his back
Piper: What do you say to the people that say there is no competition in the CWA for ye
Stevie Ray: I agree man and JBL better start opening his wallet and sign up a big tag team to face Harlem Heat 2000 at Revolution unless he wants his buyrates to drop
JBL: Listen I know ye got other offers but lets be honest ye like two things money and violence well at CWA I will make sure ye get plenty of both, as he hangs up he walks straight into Nikita Koloff
Koloff: Well well well look who it is the so called CWA Champion, dont think I have no realised that in the last two weeks you got rid of your nearest challengers
I heard you Spiked Scott Hall so you could fire him and you paid Hernadez off to jump Mysterio whats your plan for Booker T
JBL: I have no idea what you are on about anyway what the hell are you doing here
Koloff: Oh you must have forgot to check all your staffs contracts you see I have a 3 year deal with this place I was only on loan last year to another fed but I am back this year and I want what I should have got 2 years ago that nice shinny belt around ure waist.

Fusion Pro Wrestling – Year II- Show I
“Reborn”

Segment One

We are live in The National Stadium, Dublin. Tonight is the first show of our second season, and the last show in our home of Dublin. Fusion Pro Wrestling begins its road to Mexico where in five weeks it will be presenting its second big PPV, “Austin vs. Del Rio.” The fans are rabid and are out in force as they prepare to say goodbye to the company. Chants of FPW ring through the sold out arena when Colt Cabanas music hits and the fans are on their feet. Colt Cabana and El Generico both make their out to a hero’s reception, as they are the only two men to feature in season 1 and season 2 of Fusion Pro Wrestling. Dueling chants of “Colt Cabana” and “Olé!” echo through the stadium in respect for both men. Colt takes the mic and quiets everyone down.
Colt: “Can you believe it Generico? Here we are, one year wrestling with Fusion Pro, and we are the only ones left standing! This company has done some great things for you and I. I got to wrestle Dusty Rhodes in his retirement match, and you got Miss Elizabeth into your spandex!”
Generico acts embarrassed and the fans cheer him on. He takes the mic.
Generico: “No, she go away.” The crowd awhs. “She no handle Latino heat!”
The crowd cheers Generico on, as does Colt.
Colt: “Well, funny that because from next week we are relocating to your homeland of Mexico. We had some great times here in Ireland, and by God we will make sure that we tell everyone in Mexico about you fans and how nothing compares to wrestling for you all!”
The crowd cheers and starts chanting FPW, when suddenly the music of Vampiro hits the arena. He comes out to the ramp to loud boos, and is holding a microphone.
Vampiro: “Did I just hear you idiots correctly? You are cheering and praising a fraud? Why am I surprised, you Irish people love supporting liars, that’s why you keep electing them. You, El Generico, are a liar. You’re not Mexican, and you are a disgrace to that mask you wear. You hide behind it, to hide your true self. If these people knew the real you, the skinny ginger Canadian that hides behind this wall, they wouldn’t cheer you. They would eat you alive. Well, not here in Ireland because everyone here hides behind their own lies anyway. But when we get to Mexico, they will chew you up and spit you out.”
Colt: “Hang on Vampiro, stop me if I’m wrong, but you’re the Canadian. And you cover your own face in that silly makeup. You look like you’re on you’re way to fronting a bad Lady Gaga cover act.”
Vampiro: “I’m honest about myself Colt. And I have earned the right to wear my war paint. I have worked with the dark forces in Mexico, earned their respect, and understand the importance of wearing this. Perhaps tonight I should show you what respect is all about, and hopefully your friend will take a note from the beating you get, and keeps out of that airplane next week.”
Generico tries to tell Colt not to get involved, but Colt accepts the challenge anyway. Later on tonight, Colt Cabana goes one on one with Vampiro!

Segment Two:

Sin Cara vs. The Great Sasuke

Both men come out to a great reception. It’s clear that tonight that FPW wants to give Dublin some great matches as a thank you note for the past year. This is a fast paced contest, with both men being matched perfectly. Sin Cara gets the pin after 09:28.

Afterwards, Christopher Daniels makes his way out through the crowd and jumps Sin Cara. Daniels is unrelenting with his attack, and leaves Sin Cara laid out in the middle of the ring with the Angle Wings. This brings out the man he was drafted with, Low Ki. Low Ki, without a mic, gets right into Daniels face, questioning what he is doing. Daniels just smiles at Ki, and says that the Gospel according to the Fallen Angel has revealed its true messiah. Low Ki looks just as confused as everyone else, when suddenly the lights go dark. When they come back on, The Great Muta is standing in the ring instead of Daniels, staring right into Low Ki’s eyes. He then spits his green mist into Low Ki’s eyes and Ki falls out to ringside as we go to a break.

Segment Three

We come back and the glass breaks! Stone Cold Steve Austin makes his debut in Fusion Pro Wrestling. The fans are electric, as Austin works the crowd, going to each turnbuckle and soaking it all in. Austin wastes no time and grabs a mic.
“I’m going to make this short and sweet, because the powers that be have a lot to get through tonight for you fans. I just wanted to come out here, and address two things that Stone Col has a problem with. One, The Great Muta, a few weeks ago you decided to make your press conference debut with FPW at the expense of Stone Cold. Now I have all the respect in the world for you son, but if you want to make your name through the Rattlesnake then you’re going to get bite. In five weeks time I have my PPV match with Alberto Del Rio, so I want to get this problem out of the way tonight. So I am glad to say that the board of directors agreed with me and the main event for this evening is The Great Muta vs. the toughest son of a bitch in the world Stone Cold Steve Austin.”
The fans react positively to the news that they will see this epic dream match tonight, but before Austin can even continue with his promo, Alberto Del Rios music hits the arena and Alberto come out without a car. Alberto stands at the ramp with a mic.
“Excuse me Mr. Cold, we haven’t been properly introduced. My name is Alberto Del Rio, but you already knew that. Destiny has brought me to Fusion Pro Wrestling, but everyone seems to be taking the spotlight away from me. 10 weeks ago, I was the very first name signed with this company. I was the standard bearer and the face of the company. Then, two weeks later, noone talks about me. Instead the world is talking about an overweight alcoholic called Steve Austin. Then, to add insult to injury, the following weak everyone is talking about some old Japanese has been simply because he spits into your eyes. But wait, there is more. Then, Fusion Pro Wrestling only decides to relocate to Mexico after they sign two old has-been peasants in Gory Guerrero and El Santo. It seems that everyone has forgotten about me, Alberto Del Rio. They even forgot to ship my car over here to this shanty town of Dublin. This place stinks so bad that Ricardo had to stay behind because the thought of coming here just made him sick.”
“Waah, waah, waah, waah!!! Are you actually going anywhere with this or are you just going to cry at Stone Cold? It sounds like you want to take part in something tonight, so how about Stone Cold gets out of this ring and gives you an ass whooping right now?”

The fans cheer, when suddenly Stan Hansen’s music hits. Stan has a mic.
“Now, you know Steve that no one enjoys a good ass whooping like me. But I have some important news. Fusion Pro Wrestling board of directors has made me the general manager. And I want to make sure that you guys don’t lock up until the PPV in 5 weeks time. So you’ll just have to wait. That doesn’t mean you are getting off scot free however Alberto. See some guys in the back are, no doubt unhappy with your comments at calling some of the Mexican legends backstage peasants. So tonight, you will be going one on one with Chavo Guerrero. And you better get your ass to the ring, because that match is next.”

Hansen makes his way backstage, and Austin and Del Rio lock eyes as they both meet each other on the entrance ramp.

Segment Four:

Alberto Del Rio vs. Chavo Guerrero

Chavo wastes no time and jumps straight at Alberto who rolls out to ringside. Alberto tries to avoid Chavo as much as possible, until El Hijo Del Santo comes from behind and tosses Del Rio into the ring. Del Rio eats a hurricanrana come Chavo as El Hijo cheers from ringside. Chavo goes to the top rope, but Del Rio punches the ref and runs through the crowd. Chavo wins by DQ and Alberto escapes through the crowd.

Chavo and El Hijo are left in the ring, and they are joined del Gory and El Santo. The four men are meeting in a tag match to determine who the greatest family in the history of Lucha Libre is at the PPV. All four men shake hands and pose for the audience, showing mutual respect for each other as we go to a break.

Segment Five:

Colt Cabana vs. Vampiro

The match doesn’t even get to take place. Vampiro jumps Colt as he makes way out and takes him apart. He is then joined by Christopher Daniels and both men lay into Cabana. Low Ki and El Generico both come out to try clean house, but the light go out again and when they come up, The Great Muta is standing with both Vampiro and Daniels with Cabana, Low Ki and Generico all laid out on their feet. Daniels has the mic.
“Ladies and gentlemen, I ask of you all, to repent. Embrace the darkness and join us. We will lay waste to those that stand before us, and silence anyone who does not accept us. We are The Church of Muta.” The men pose to a chorus of boos, but here comes Stone Cold Steve Austin! Stunner to Vampiro, stunner to Daniels and he looks Muta right in the eyes and our main event is on!

Segment Six

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. The Great Muta

This match is stiff and brutal, with neither man giving in to the other. Austin looks to have victory in his hands when he ducks Mutas mist and delivers a stunner. But suddenly Del Rio appears at ringside, distracting Austin and allowing Muta to recover and hit the Shining Wizard and a moonsault for the victory.
Winner, The Great Muta at 22:04.

Del Rio leaves laughing as we end the show.

Commentary team: Welcome everyone to the return of Monday Night Grappling. We come to you tonight live from Philadelphia and as we build towards Grapplemania the question on our fans lips is...will Shawn Michaels be here? Rumours are rife on the whereabouts of HBK but hopefully tonight we will get answers!

Jim Cornette's music hits as he makes his way to the ring to boos. Fans have turned on the Commissioner in recent months and aren't happy about rumours he lost HBK to a rival roster.

Cornette: Well sh*t, thank you for that familiar friendly Philadelphia welcome.

(Fans boo)

Now that I've got rid of the deadweight from last year and sent them packing to WECWF's wannabe whackjobs and BWA's bargain basement bin, this year Monday Night Grappling is back and bigger than ever. And yes folks I know there has been much speculation over a certain MNG talent...

(Fans chant 'HBK' and 'We want Michaels')

I know you do and I know every wrestling fan around the world wants to see the man who became champion here many months ago - Misawa - arguably the greatest Japanese wrestler ever, versus arguably the greatest American wrestler ever Shawn Michaels. Unfortunately...well, the rumours are accurate. Mr Michaels has in fact gone AWOL from this company.

(Fans jeer like crazy)

I know, hell I'm as hurt by this as you are but the show must go on and I'll have to find another contender to face Misawa...

*Batista's music hits*





Batista comes to the ring in a ridiculously wonderful outfit. Batista gets nose to nose with Cornette and says the fact he was not number one contender for Misawa's gold was a joke. He said he was the number one acquisition to the company and was promised big things by the owner of MNG but instead the talk was about a guy who didn't even want to be on the show.

He said Michaels should just do what he does best and keep hunting poor defenceless animals. It will at least give Batista some more cool outfits to wear like his leopard-skin underwear. Batista said he had no title shot due to the bad blood between him and Cornette and said it was because he had said in interviews Cornette did nothing for his career while he was in OVW.

Cornette said he had separate plans in mind for Batista but to stop his whiney bitching if Batista can win his match tonight he'll be the number one contender for the World title. His opponent would be...the World Champion Misawa. The fans meanwhile keep chanting for HBK.

Commentary: So if Batista wins the non-title match he becomes no 1 contender at Grapplemania!

Match - Trish Stratus vs local worker

Before the match the Women's Champ Trish said she heard Manami Toyota had signed for the company and hoped it was true. Trish made short work of the unknown game lass finishing her off with the Chick Kick.

Following the match the lights went low and a video aired highlighting Manami Toyota's abilities and declared her the best female wrestler in the world. When the lights went up Toyota appeared on the ramp and motioned for the belt as the fans cheered. Trish raised the title belt and told her she wasn't scared.

Backstage Batista brushes off an MNG interviewer and as he walks into his dressing room he sees it's been trashed and a strange ancient symbol is painted on his wall. Batista wonders aloud if Misawa did this.

(A promo aired highlighting Misawa's World Title reign in recent months and how the guy who entered the company with little English had gradually won US fans over and become a symbol of all that is good about wrestling.)

Backstage we see Cornette in his office trying to contact Michaels. The WECWF legends and TV champ Nick Bockwinkel walks in along with Ray Stevens and Bockwinkel says he has something extremely important to tell Cornette about the Monday Night Wars.

Cornette says he has no time and runs off shouting into his phone. Cornette's team, the tag champions The Midnight Express are there and the Rock N Roll Express enter. They challenge old rivals Midnight Express to a match for the titles but Ray Stevens says they want the belts too. The Midnight Express tell RNR member Robert Gibson that unfortunately for him he takes on the Crippler Ray Stevens tonight and that match is next...

Match - The Crippler Ray Stevens vs Robert Gibson w/Ricky Morton

Stevens oddly comes out alone. The two have a good match with the fans behind Gibson all the way. During the match however the Midnight Express interfere and Stevens uses the distraction to roll up Gibson with a handful of tights for the pin.

Winner: Ray Stevens



After the match the Midnight Express beat on Ricky Morton whilst Stevens takes Gibson outside, He hits him with a piledriver on the floor and even the Midnight Express look somewhat shocked by this. Stevens screams he's the crippler and he'll end the career of anyone who gets in his way.

*commercial break*

Konnan meets Bockwinkel backstage and asks if he's seen what his tag partner just did out there. Bockwinkel says he doesn't associate with street ruffians like Konnan and that he urgently needs to consult with Cornette. Konnan says he's a Mexican champion and threatens to teach him some thug respect but Bockwinkel sneers at him and says he would teach him some manners but he has to find Cornette.



Main Event: Batista vs Misawa (c) (non-title. If Batista wins he's number one contender)

The two men have a hard-fought physical encounter with the story of the match being Batista being a monster and hitting many big moves but being unable to stop the fighting effort of Misawa. As Batista goes to hit a Batista Bomb, Misawa rolls him up with a cradle for the 1-2-3 as the fans erupt for the champion Misawa.

Winner: Misawa



Batista snaps now he is not getting to face Misawa for the title and he grabs a chair. Cornette runs down with security and tells Batista to knock it off or else. Batista gets nose to nose with Cornette one more time and Cornette has security take him away. Batista breaks clear and hits Cornette with a punch. Cornette picks himself off and screams into the mic that Batista just 'pushed the nuclear button'. Batista shakes his head confused at this as security drag him away.

Contract signing - ???

Misawa gets to his feet as his Japanese entourage rush in the ring. Cornette congratulates him and says he just gave him a headache as now there is no match for Grapplemania. The fans again chant for HBK. Misawa grabs a mic and says 3 words 'I want Michaels'. The fans cheer. Cornette says he knows that but Shawn Michaels doesn't want to be found. Then...

The fans come unglued as Shawn Michaels appears. He comes out wearing a suit but his head is bowed and he looks serious. The fans are on their feet as he enters the ring and he extends his hand to Misawa.

(He motions for the music to be stopped)

Michaels: Hell of a match, Misawa.

Cornette: Well dammit Michaels I don't know where you've been but you're here now and since this is the match the MNG owner wants, and hell the match the world wants, let's put pen to paper and get this title match -

Michaels: Hold on a second, Jim. Firstly I want to apologise to the fans of Monday Night Grappling. My head...has not been right lately. Since my Mania matches with Undertaker I just...

(The fans chant 'HBK')

Michaels: Man, y'know (he begins to tear up)...I just...Uh...I just don't know if I can do this anymore, guys.

(Some fans scream no as others boo)

Michaels: I'm sorry, Misawa. I'm sorry everyone. It's just...I've...I've lost my smile again.



(The fans boo loudly as Misawa's interpreters explain what's being said. Misawa shakes his head in disbelief)

Michaels: I can't anymore. I can't.

(Michaels leaves the ring to boos and some girls are crying)

Cornette: What is this a marketing ploy, Michaels? You want more money? Did HVCW offer you something? I'll double it! Those snakes in BWA? WECWF? What is this about Michaels?

(Michaels keeps walking up the ramp head bowed.

Cornette: Hold on Michaels. Hold on. I want you to know if you walk out now you're not just walking out on myself and Misawa. You're walking out on each and everyone of these fans here...

(The fans chant HBK as Michaels stands motionless for what seems like a full minute. He slowly turns around with tears in his eyes and mouths 'I'm sorry' and walks out of the arena to a chorus of boos)

Fireworks go off from San Antonio, Texas for the second show of the season.

Commentary team: We come to you live from San Antonio, home of Shawn Michaels who walked out last week, and from what we are told...regrettably ladies and gentlemen...Shawn Michaels will apparently retire here tonight.

On the bright side we hear we will crown a first ever Monday Night Grappling Legends Champion tonight in our battle royal main event

Michaels comes out dressed in his hometown attire. His expression is again solemn.

Michaels: I've got a feeling of deja-vu here guys. You know since my Mania matches with Taker, something just hasn't quite been there inside me. I thought my love for my family and my faith were all I needed but to tell you the truth, my faith in myself has been rocked the last while. I couldn't beat Undertaker...and I don't think I can beat Misawa. That's why with a heavy heart...

(Jim Cornette's music then hits)

Cornette: Look Michaels I'm begging you. My own career is on the line here. You might have heard the rumours...we recently signed the New Rockers...Al Snow,,,and your old buddy Marty Jannetty. They're here next week. If you want we can do a Rockers reunion. If that would make you happy. Just please don't leave the company.

Michaels: Cornette, we've never seen eye to eye since the days you managed Vader. Don't pretend like you care about me. I'll say this one final time...Shawn Michaels has left the buil-

(The Rock N Roll Express music then hits and out comes Ricky Morton to the ring. Michaels extends his hand but Morton refuses it)



Morton: What is this, Shawn? Do you know my best friend and tag partner Robert Gibson is in a hospital right now because of Ray Stevens and the Midnight Express and yet, Jim Cornette here has told me I can't get my hands on them unless I talk you out of this?

Michaels: Listen Ricky I'm sorry about Robert but-

Morton: Shut up, Shawn. For those fans who aren't aware, when Shawn Michaels started out in wrestling it was the RNR that took him under our wing and schooled him about the business. I saw a young guy with a ton of potential from the beginning. I watched you slowly evolve from where I was - a great tag team participant - to gradually becoming the showstopper. The best wrestler in the world. Maybe the best ever. You didn't give a damn about anyone. You were selfish. Arrogant. You thought you were the man. And you were. Now Shawn...now all I see is a shell of a man.

Michaels: Ricky listen...

Morton: No you listen. In his book Ric Flair, a guy who I wrestled 60 minute matches with once upon a time, he said that the difference between you and me was you turned on your partner and I didn't. He was right, Shawn. That selfishness, that ego...I never had it. I'm sorry to tell Cornette this but I'm not out here to beg you to return to wrestling for one simple reason - I don't think you can beat Misawa.

Because the Shawn Michaels who wears suits and weeps about his smile isn't going to get the job done against Misawa. I've seen him Shawn. He's great. Maybe the best. You mentioned your matches with Taker? Well remember that the Shawn Michaels of 1997 beat Undertaker in Hell in a Cell. I'm talking about the Shawn Michaels who founded D-X. The Shawn Michaels who screwed Bret Hart in Montreal. That ruthlessness. That selfishness. That is the only Shawn Michaels who can get the job done. The only way you can beat Misawa...is to bring back the OLD Shawn Michaels. The real showstopper. The main event. The icon.

Michaels: Ricky I know what you're trying to do but that guy is gone. Believe me you don't know how hard I've had to try to keep him gone. You don't want to open that Pandora's box...

Morton: It's up to you Shawn. You can go back home and never take on the challenge of Misawa and be the family man. Or...you can one more time bring out the HBK of old. I know he's in there Shawn. (Michaels shakes his head and leaves the ring to a mixed reaction as Cornette yells at Morton)

Match - Manami Toyota vs local worker

Trish was on commentary for this match which didn't take long. Toyota hit a series of impressive missile dropkicks all the while glancing at Trish at ringside. Trish said she was looking forward to having the greatest women's match ever and proving she was the best ever. Toyota eventually won with a powerbomb.

Winner: Manami Toyota

Toyota invited Trish to come in the ring afterwards but Trish just smiled and left raising the title.



Cornette is seen backstage on the phone to Misawa who is in Japan preparing for the big Tokyo event next week. Bockwinkel finally gets a hold of Cornette.

Bockwinkel: I've left you messages all week and you haven't got back to me, sir. This isn't something to discuss over a phone.

Cornette: Well sh*t, I'm trying to save my main event at Grapplemania. What is it?

Bockwinkel: It's about the Monday Night Wars.

Cornette: What about 'em?

Bockwinkel: I'm concerned about legal issues affecting my good name. My lawyers are concerned that as the holder of the unified WECWF legends and TV Titles I am in possession of property that belongs to another organisation.

Cornette: Listen don't worry about Vince McMahon and his legal bullsh*t. He's got his own problems over there anyway. Our company has plenty of money and my lawyers assure me possession is still 9/10 of the law.

If those whingers in WEWCF want their title back then let's call their bluff and take 'em on in the ring. Hell we'll take on anyone from there or BWA. Let's do a supershow involving all three and settle it once and for all...if they've got the balls.

And remember...You're Nick Bockwinkel. Former AWA World Champ. Since you've got the unified titles of WECWF why not add the MNG Legends Title to boot? That will make you as far as I know the first man in history to hold titles from two different companies. That match is our main event.

Suddenly there is a comotion and screaming. 'Eh Cornette!' Batista is in the ring...

Batista: Get your fat ass out here Cornette. I am gonna give you one last chance to avoid an ass beating if you promise right now to make me the number one contender for Misawa's title.

Cornette on the titantron tells Dave he told him last week he 'pushed the nuclear button'. He asked him if he remembered the symbol that was in his dressing room? Batista said it was mind games from Misawa. Cornette said it was mind games alright but not from Misawa. Rather, from this man.....

Batista has a look of shock on his face as The Ultimate Warrior's music hits. Batista mouths 'you gotta be kidding me'. Out from the crowd Warrior runs in and attacks with big shoulder tackles as Batista goes running into the crowd. Warrior begins shaking the ropes as Batista screams 'hey that's my thing'. Batista dares him to follow and Warrior obliges chasing Batista out of the arena.

Commentary: Business just picked up here. This one's not over by a long shot!

Main Event: 6 man Battle Royale for the first ever MNG Legends Title. Participants: Midnight Express, Ray Stevens, Nick Bockwinkel, Konnan and Ricky Morton.

The four heels immediately target the two faces - Morton and Konnan.

Bockwinkel holds Konnan and tells Stevens to take him out. As he holds him up however Konnan breaks free and manages to toss out Stevens. Konnan then targets Bockwinkel but Stevens from behind drags Konnan out of the ring under the ropes.

Ray Stevens is eliminated

Morton meanwhile is desperately clinging to the ropes as the Midnight Express look to both take him out. Suddenly Bockwinkel comes from behind and eliminates all three men!

The Midnight Express and Ricky Morton are eliminated

Nick Bockwinkel is the champion...or so he thinks, but Konnan never went out over the rope. Stevens looks to hit a piledriver on Konnan outside and cripple another talent but Ricky Morton attacks Stevens allowing Konnan to rush into the ring and from behind throw out Bockwinkel!

Shawn Michaels comes running out to the ring as the fans go wild. He hits Super Kicks to the Midnight Express. One more to Stevens. One more to Bockwinkel. He starts jumping up and down. Is Shawn Michaels back, folks?

He helps Konnan and Morton to their feet. Suddenly...a Super Kick floors Konnan. Morton stands shocked? What was that? Then a Super Kick to Ricky Morton. Michaels has laid out everybody in the match!



Michaels stands for a long time looking at his fallen friend Ricky Morton. Then he slowly raises up his head as a sick devilish smile fills his face. He begins to motion a title belt around his waist.

Commentary: My goodness Ricky Morton told Michaels to let out the old HBK. And now I think we're seeing it. Pandora's Box has been opened. What the hell are we in for now as we count down to Grapplemania? We might have a main event now...but at what price?

R-Truth: And someone else too.

J.R.: Eh, yes, of course. Little Jimmy is here too. We are in my home city of Oklahoma, for what promises to be an action packed night.

R-Truth: Little Jimmy says that in the main event, Hulk Hogan gonna team up with Brutus Beefcake to fight Rikishi and Sheamus.

J.R.: Well, Little Jimmy's right, the Irish-Samoan Alliance out for revenge after Hogan defeated Rikishi to retain the PWF title last week.

PWF canteen is shown

JR: Well, ladies and gentlemnen earlier tonight, I got into an altercation myself, with Rikishi and Sheamus, in the staff canteen that was set up here.

Jim Ross is shown eating when suddenly he is approached by Rikishi and Sheamus.

Sheamus: Hey, fella.

JR: Hey guys, enjoying the food?

Sheamus (angry): Why is my dinner covered in Barbeque Sauce?

JR: Yeah, it's good right.

Sheamus: To be honest with ya fella, it tastes like ****e.

JR looks shocked.

Rikishi: Not just any barbeque sauce either, but the special low fat, no cholesteral, low carbs variety.

JR: The healthy option., its good for the competitors.

Rikishi: Do I look like someone who wants low-fat food.

JR: Well...

Rikishi: Then again, neither do you, J.R.

Sheamus: Haha yeah, Rikishi. JR makes you look like Michael Cole.

JR: Actually, I've lost a few pounds.

Sheamus: The only time you lost pounds was when you had a hole in your pocket in the UK.

JR is annoyed.

Sheamus: Look, your barbeque sauce tastes like piss, we don't want it on the menu, ok! Oklahoma should be ashamed of itself.

Sheamus feigns a punch which JR moves his ahead to avoid.

Sheamus and Rikishi laugh and both men walk off.



Next, Shane McMahon is shown in the ring. The crowd are cheering.

R-Truth: Somebody don't like your barbeque sauce, J.R.

J.R.: You know when I got my old WWE position of Vice-President of Talent Relations this week, I thought the first thing I had to do was sort out the unhealthy menu in the canteen. I worked hard on it and got it thrown back in my face. Rikishi and Sheamus are pathetic.

Shane-O-Mac: You know every time Jim Ross has come to Oklahoma my father has humiliated him. He's had to kiss Dad's ass, he's got fired, got drafted to the second show, all right here in his hometown. All after many years of loyalty and great announcing. So to show that I am not the same as my father, I want to welcome JR up here right now!!



JR: I sure hope this isn't some kind of trick or something.

Shane-O-Mac: JR, welcome back to your hometown, thanks for all your hard work and to congratulate you, I'm giving you a job for life, and the mayor of Oklahoma City has a surprise for you.

The mayor comes out.

Mayor: JR, I am awarding you with the freedom of Oklahoma City, tonight!!

The crowd goes crazy.

R-Truth: JR finally getting rewarded for all his years of hard work. We don't just talk about anti-bullying here at PWF, we live it!! And that's the truth!

JR shakes the mayor's hand and then Shane's hand.

R-Truth: JR getting his moment in Oklahoma, at long last!! Little Jimmy loves this!!

The crowd boos as Sheamus and Rikishi come to ringside and enter the ring.

R-Truth: If it looks like a duck, smells like a duck and acts like a duck, then it must be duck. Therefore, Rikishi must be one big pile of crap!! Quack, quack.



Sheamus: Ladies and Gentle, sorry, inbreds and rednecks of Oklahoma (booooooooos)...... this is pathetic. There is a reason Jim Ross is always humiliated when he comes here. Because Vince knows, like me and Rikishi know that he doesn't deserve any of this adulation. He basically made a career out of shouting "Stone Cold, Stone Cold!!, and living of the fame of others, such as the Great White Celtic Warrior, me!!



Rikishi: That's right...and to make matters worse, like we seen earlier, he's abusing his executive vice president of talent relations role to try to dictate what we should eat here in the PWF. Well, JR, eat this!!

Rikishi pulls 2 bottles of JR's bbq sauce out of his clothes and hands one to Sheamus. They procede to pour it all over Jim Ross!!

R-Truth: This is....insane!! Jim Ross is humiliated in his hometown, yet again.

Shane ask them to stop but they continue spraying JR with the sauce and laughing. The crowd are booing like crazy.

Sheamus: What's wrong, fella, I thought you liked this stuff!! You know you remind me of my great grand uncle Johnny Ryan. First of all coz he had the same initials as yourself. But also, coz he used to always to be hated in his hometown and people would laugh at him. Till one day he made some nice BBQ sauce and everyone liked him and he became a hero. But, then he got too cocky and ended up drowning in his own Barbeque Sauce!!

Rikishi looks confused: Did that really happen?

Sheamus: Maybe, anyway these stupid rednecks will believe anything.

R-Truth: And Rikishi and Sheamus got even more bottles of that BBQ Sauce. I guess nobody ever bought this much of JR's sauce!! And JR getting covered in it. You know what my pet pidgeon would say about this - nothing, coz Pigeons don't talk!! And that's the truth!!

All of a sudden Voodoo Chile (Slight Return) hits and the crowd go crazy.

Sheamus and Rikishi look shocked and stare at the entrance to the arena.



R-Truth: And here comes Hulk Hogan! And his old pal Brutus Beefcake. Perhaps he wants some bbq sauce with that beefcake. What's that, Little Jimmy?

Sheamus and Rikishi quickly escape the ring when Hogan and Beefcake enter.

Sheamus shouts "we'll get ya later tonight, fellas" as the crowd boo and the guys walk back down the aisle. Hulk Hogan and Beefcake milk the crowd for adulation!

R-Truth: All's I know is that tonight.....somebody gonna get got!!!! And that's the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth!!

In the first match Bart Gunn defeated Scotty 2 Hotty, taking out his anger over the betrayal by his brother the previous week.

Goes to backstage.



Brutus Beefcake is walking along when suddenly he gets attacked from behind. It's not obvious who the attacker is. As soon as the camera goes to focus on the attacker the camera is knocked to the floor.

J.R: Oh my god, what's going on back there.

Suddenly, Beefcake is heard screaming. Eventually the camera man picks the camera back up to reveal Beefcake lying down, knocked out.

J.R.: Good god!! I dunno how that's going to affect our main event but it looks like Beefcake will not be competing tonight.

R-Truth: Might be a long time before we see him again.

J.R.: I am shocked by what just happened.

R-Truth: I am shocked by your smell, haven't you showered yet?

J.R. I am dedicated to my announcing job.

R-Truth: Dedicated to smelling like Barbeque Sauce, more like. It's worse than a skunk.

J.R.: What's with your constant animal references?

R-Truth: Little Jimmy loves animals.

J.R.: I hope that's only platonic.

J.R.: Greg The Hammer Valentine and the Honky Tonk Man have been more successful as a team than as individual competitors so far in the PWF. With Brutus Beefcake joining the PWF last week, we thought we might see the return of the Dream Team. But that wicked assault on Beefcake earlier seems to have put paid to that.

R-Truth: As long as they the tag-team champions, Rhythm & Blues ain't going nowhere. But Little Jimmy thinks the New Age Outlaws are gonna be too strong tonight.

J.R.: Greg The Hammer Valentine and the Bad Ass Billy Gunn starting us off here. The Hammer is hammering away on Billy Gunn. And he tags in The Honky Tonk Man. And both men going to work on Billy Gunn.

The One Billy Gunn comes back into the match. Later, Valentine goes for a superplex but the Bad Ass pushes him to the ring and then hits an elbow drop.

J.R: And both men are down. They are both looking to make the tag. And here comes the Honky Tonk Man. And now Road Dogg. Look at the reaction.

R-Truth: The Dogg's been let of his leash!!

J.R: I knew you would think of one. And Road Dogg is kicking ass. Here it comes.........Shake, Rattle and Roll. And now, the pumphandle slam to Honky Tonk Man.

R-Truth: This is over.

R-Truth: Still can't believe Road Dogg ditched me last week.

J.R.: Well, look at him now, he's got those titles, maybe it was the right thing to do.

R-Truth: I knew you'd say that, shutup.

Road Dogg starts rapping to the crowd. Honky Tonk Man picks up his guitar and starts playing. The crowd love it.

J.R.: Road Dogg rapping but Honky Tonk Man prefers some Rhythm & Blues. Oh but Road Dogg and the Bad Ass Billy Gunn have grabbed his guitar and they've broken it in half.

Honky Tonk Man grabs a microphone: We will get those titles back, and we will also prove that Rock is always better than that crappy Rap music you guys like these days!!!!!!!!

J.R.: Well, there is Crash Holly, the new Hardcore Champion. Remember he has to defend it 24......oh my god!!!!!!! Greg Valentine from behind. With a sledgehammer.

Good God!! And he looks angry, and so he should be, he just lost the tag-team titles. And he lost the Hardcore Title match with Crash last week. Oh and wait a minute he's going for a suplex...backstage. Oh my God...listen to that impact. And there is a referee.

Valentine: Count, damn it!!

J.R: The Hammer has done it. He's the new Hardcore Champion. And that means he has to defend it, 24/7, 365 days a week!!!!

J.R.: Well, our main event is supposed to be coming up next. A tag-team match featuring Hulk Hogan and Brutus Beefcake against the Irish-Samoan Alliance of Sheamus and Rikishi. But Beefcake was knocked out earlier, I don't think he's able to compete.

Backstage, Hogan is confronting the PWF Chairman/CEO, Shane McMahon.

Hogan: What the hell kinda show are you running, McMahon. My tag team partner just got beaten up by those two clowns.

Hogan points at Sheamus and Rikishi, who also enter the CEO's office.

Sheamus: What's the story here, fellas?

Hogan: What the hell did you to Brutus? You scared to fight us or what?

Sheamus: Are you gonna let him make these false accusations, fella.

A man walks in with his head down and starts sweeping the floor. Sheamus and Rikishi start smiling. Hogan is furious.

Shane shrugs his shoulders.

Janitor: Quack, quack!!

J.R.: What? It's R-Truth!!



Sheamus and Rikishi are shocked.

R-Truth: I heard somebody needs a tag-team partner.

Hogan: Hey, brother!!!

R-Truth: So..we get to fight the ugly alliance!

(cheers)

R-Truth: Sheamus, you're so white, I have to make sure I don't accidentally pour you into my coffee!!!

Sheamus: Yeah, well fella you're so black, I have to be careful not to throw you into my fireplace.

Shane: We don't tolerate that here, Sheamus:

Rikishi: Double standards, McMahon.

J.R.: Here we go, Sheamus is going to face off with Hulk Hogan for the first time ever.

They stare intently at each other for 10 seconds. Finally Hogan attacks Sheamus.

J.R.: They are really going at it. Sheamus with the upper hand with those massive axehandles but Hogan finally ducks one. And here we go!! Body Slam. Goes for the cover...1.....2.......Sheamus kicked out. And Sheamus makes the tag to Rikishi for the first time. These fought last week as well and that time Hogan had the upper hand, this time Rikishi with the upper hand. Hogan forced to tag here comes R-Truth oh but he walks straight into a belly to belly suplex. Rikishi goes for the pin...1...2 kickout by R-Truth.

J.R.: Oh and reverse STO!! Now R-Truth and Rikishi both need to make the tag. And here comes Sheamus!! And here comes Hulk Hogan!! Hogan clotheslines Sheamus. And now he clotheslines Rikishi. Another clothesline to Sheamus. Body Slam on Rikishi!! Good god, he's over 400 pounds!!! And he's feeding off the energy of the crowd. Another clothesline to Sheamus. And here we go.......Leg Drop. He got it. 1.......2.........oh but Rikishi makes the break up. Hogan is furious..oh Rikishi kick!!!!!!!!! Hogan is down. Rikishi not the legal man...he goes back outside. Hogan makes the tag to R-Truth. And a big Irish curse backbreaker by Sheamus on R-Truth. R-Truth stands up...oh Sheamus has him between his legs.........going for the Celtic Cross.



Here comes Hogan to try to stop it.....oh.... a big American Football style tackle by Rikishi knocks Hogan down. GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY! Sheamus with the Celtic Cross and 1....2.....3. Damn it!!!

Friday Night Ignition

The show opens with the returning former world champion Christian in the ring

He talks about losing his title and being out of action for the last four weeks because of a sneak attack and he is here tonight to find out who it was attacked him. He says he will stay right there in the ring until the culprit shows up. James Storm music hits and he makes his way to the ring mic in hand. Storm first says he wasn’t the one who attacked Christian and that is good to see him back. He talks about how similar they are both coming from great tag teams and trying not to be overshadowed by their former tag partner’s success. Storm feels it is his time for a shot at the world title and if he has to go through Christian he will but tonight he wants to face the arrogant son of a bitch Nigel McGuinness. Nigel McGuinness music hits and he makes his way out to the ring without his manager Bobby Heenan.

Nigel McGuinness tells Storm to go have a beer as he isn’t in his league and that he will be the next world champion. Storm squares up McGuinness but they are interrupted by Cody Rhodes who is on the ramp with Ted DiBiase Jnr and Joseph Hennig who tells them to all shut up and that the world championship is going to him. He says that soon Ted will buy the promotion and The Generation Dominators will rule.

Bobby Heenan comes out and says that he has been made the Interim General Manager of LWE and now he is running the show. He says that the
next world champion will be crowned at the next ppv which is WrestleMayhem and that the persons competing for it will be Christian, James Storm, Cody Rhodes and Nigel McGuinness. Heenan says unfortunately he cannot manage McGuinness anymore as it would be a conflict of interest. Heenan tells Christian that he will be look into who attacked him, he tells Christian he is not yet cleared to wrestle so won’t be in action tonight but he says he to stick around and he makes James Storm V Nigel McGuinness with Christian as the special ref as the main event for tonight. Heenan says he is bringing hardcore to the LWE and it is not porn unfortunately but that the hardcore title is coming to the LWE. He says tonight there will be a battle royal that is open to anyone on the LWE roster for the hardcore title.

Heenan also says that tonight the tag team titles were to be defended against John Morrison and Joey Mercury but John Morrison has now asked for a match against Brian Pillman and that will take place next and it will be a falls count anywhere match. We see backstage that they have both already started fighting. Both finally make it out to the ring, after a lengthy 20 minute battle Pillman picks up the win after a pin on the ramp.

Up next is Lita V Natalya for the Women’s championship. Backstage we Natalya tell Cody she has this and don’t need any assistance at ringside and comes out alone. Nearing the end of the match Lita goes up top for moonsault and the pin but Beth Phoenix runs in and takes her out. Beth also takes out Natalya. Heenan comes out and says that all three of them will battle it out in a ladder match at the ppv for the title. Beth picks up the title and smiles.

David Otunga comes out to the ring dressed like Crockett from Miami Vice with sunglasses on. He gets on the mic and says that he was just at the grammy awards where is lovely fiancé Jennifer Hudson aka Jhud stole the show, he says everyone in Hollywood is after him that is he Mr. Hollywood and now he wants to be Mr. WrestleMayhem and that he should be competing for the world title also at the ppv. Jimmy Wang Yang comes out to the ring with a mic, he asks Otunga could he hook him up with JLo for a duet. Otunga looks confused and tells him to get out of the ring. Again Yang keeps saying JLo, JLo, JLo. Otunga knocks Yang’s cowboy hat off and laughs. He calls him a redneck and that he isn’t fit to shine his Jimmy Choo shoes. Otunga goes to knock him out but Yang counters and knocks Otunga down. Otunga rolls out of the ring while Yang signals him to come back in. Yang picks up his cowboy hat and Otunga's sunglasses and wears them. Otunga teases going back in the ring but instead leaves.

Backstage we see Teddy Hart ask Cody Rhodes again if he can join his group, Cody starts to beat on him. Heenan passes and tries to break it up. Cody strikes Heenan and knocks him down tbc……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

Commentary: We are here in Japan and we are told that finally at long last HBK vs Misawa will finally be made official for Grapplemania. Also 3 tag teams meet for a chance to face the Midnight Express for the tag titles at the PPV.

Jim Cornette is in the ring with some interpreters and he looks very happy.



Cornette says last week Michaels looked to have put his problems behind him and thanked Ricky Morton for bringing out the old HBK. He says things are looking up and added agreement with BWA and WECWF on a triple threat supershow looks to be close. Cornette said by destroying those rivals and bringing back HBK, things were looking up for him.

Cornette then introduced Manami Toyota to a huge ovation. She spoke in Japanese and through interpreters we learned that she vowed to take the women's title from Trish at the PPV. Cornette then introduced Trish who got a great reaction from the men in the audience. Toyota extended her hand and after some hesitation Trish shook it. Cornette then announced Toyota would see action right now against the newly signed...Mickie James!



Match - Manami Toyota vs Mickie James

A first ever match-up between these ladies. During the match we saw a pre-recorded clip from earlier with Mickie saying she hoped a win would put her in the title frame. Trish sat and watched the match from ringside. This was a great back-and-forth match which went twenty minutes with Toyota finally picking up the win with a spike piledriver.

Winner: Manami Toyota

Trish nodded in respect at Toyota's performance and afterwards Mickie shook hands with Toyota. Suddenly the face of Aja Kong appeared on screen to a big pop from the fans.



Kong spoke in Japanese first and the crowd went 'ohhhhh' as Toyota looked concerned. Trish and Mickie looked confused, then Aja spoke in English and said she was coming for Mickie James. As the camera panned away we could see Kong wearing a Mickie James t-shirt sitting in a room filled with pictures of Mickie.

Commentary: What kind of sick woman is this and what does she want with Mickie James?

*backstage we see the New Rockers Marty Jannetty and Al Snow but Jannetty doesn't look happy*

Al: Come on Marty cheer up. We've got a tag team title shot tonight. I'm happy and so is she (he holds up head).

Marty: Listen Al. I hated this dumb gimmick the last time I did it with you and I didn't expect to be doing this sh*t again.

Al: Marty you walked out on this gimmick 15 years ago and I had to struggle on alone to make it after that. You owe me, Marty.

(Al walks off and Marty looks on not too pleased. We then hear a cough in the background..it's Shawn Michaels.

Michaels asks Jannetty if he is gonna let Snow talk to him like that. He tells Jannetty he has a hell of a party lined up and if Marty wants to reunite the real Rockers and party like old times he has to ditch the dead wood.

Jannetty says HBK isn't afraid of making enemies especially since half the roster wants to tear his head off after what he did last week. Michaels says he has assurances from the owner no one can touch him and if he thinks he's hated now wait until later on tonight as he vowed to drop a bombshell that would shake the industry to its core...

Match 2 : Batista vs local talent

The local from Tokyo was quickly done away with by an angry Batista. He finished the young man off with a spinebuster followed by the Batista Bomb.

Winner: Batista

Batista grabbed a mic afterwards and said he wasn't afraid of Warrior. He called him out.

A video package then appears on the titantron showing Batista destroying stars from his career - Cena, Taker, HHH, and so on. As the video ends the camera pulls back to show Warrior staring at a screen backstage. He turns away and looks into the camera.

Warrior: You...Dave Bow-teeesta. You....are an uncaged animal (he moves back and forth)

An MNG interviewer runs up to Warrior and announces that there are rumours Warrior and Batista will be teaming up at the triple promotion supershow and that Iron Sheik might be involved. He asks Warrior what he thinks...

THE WARRIOR FEARS NO ANIMAL - AND THE WARRIOR FEARS NEITHER THE MADNESS OF THE SHEIK. IF SHEIK WANTS TO TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL BROTHER - THE POWER OF THE WARRIORS WILL CARRY ME THROUGH AND WHEN I GO TO THAT OTHER LEVEL BROTHER - IT WILL BE INSANE IN THE MEMBRANE...YAAAARRRGGHHHHH!!!!!!!

Commentary: Our Japanese fans don't understand a word that's just been said but if its any consolation our English speaking audience likely didn't either.

Backstage we see Konnan with his MNG Legends Title.

Bockwinkel approaches and holds up his unified WECWF Legends Title and says he should be the MNG Legends champ as well. Konnan says that belt is so last year and asks if he's so classy why didn't he return the belt to its rightful organisation. Bockwinkel says if they want it they can try to take it back at the supershow.



Bockwinkel's partner Ray Stevens enters and says they need to concentrate on the tag match. He warns Konnan he could cripple him like he nearly crippled RNR's Robert Gibson two weeks ago. Suddenly Gibson jumps Stevens and a big melee breaks out and they brawl to the ring so the match gets under way.

Match: Rock 'n' Roll Express vs Bockwinkel & Stevens vs The New Rockers (Tag Team elimination match to determine number 1 contenders for tag titles)

Al Snow came out but Jannetty wasn't there. Snow looked pissed off. The tag champs the Midnight Express were watching everything on a monitor backstage.

The match was pretty chaotic with many blind tags. Gibson nearly got dq'd as he went after revenge on Stevens. Poor Al looked like he was done for as Bockwinkel and Stevens focused on him. Suddenly Jannetty came down as the fans cheered. He got on the apron and as Al made the tag to a big pop - Jannetty entered - then turned and began beating on Snow!

Jannetty hit a piledriver on Snow and then made the tag on his unconscious partner before storming off. 'Screw this sh*t' he shouted.



Bockwinkel made the pin for an easy elimination as we were down to the final teams.

The New Rockers are eliminated

The RNR and Stevens and Bockwinkel put on a tag team clinic for the appreciative Japanese audience for the next 20 minutes. The finish saw Morton jumping to the outside on Bockwinkel as they brawled on the floor. With Stevens distracted by this, Gibson got the shoulder slide on Stevens for a 1-2-3 victory.

Winners and number 1 contenders: The Rock 'n' Roll Express

Commentary: So Gibson gets revenge on the man who tried to cripple him and the RNR will meet the Midnight Express on the biggest stage either have ever competed in.

The Midnight Express looked disappointed backstage that they would now face their old rivals for the gold.

Afterwards a demented Ray Stevens gave a piledriver to the referee and screamed he was the crippler and he'll cripple anyone who gets in his way. Cornette found Stevens backstage and told him many are scared to face him at Grapplemania as they think he's a maniac, but that the final draft pick will be Steven's opponent and he might be surprised who it turns out to be. Cornette then left for the contract signing...

Main Event: Contract signing for HBK vs Misawa

The ring was filled with flowers and a Japanese and US flag. It was being billed as the greatest from Japan vs the greatest from America. Jim Cornette appeared and stressed how relieved he was for the sake of his job that this match will go ahead. He then introduced to the audience the return of...Shawn Michaels!



Michaels came out wearing some skimpy shorts and strutted around as the girls in the crowd screamed for him. The mood changed dramatically however as Michaels entered the ring, took off his shirt and began rubbing the flowers all over his body.

The Japanese fans didn't know how to react to this. Cornette tried to settle him down but Michaels then grabbed the Japanese flag and began humping it like he did to the Canadian flag in 1997. Some Japanese fans stood up, shocked at this show of disrespect that were not used to. Michaels stuck the flag up his nose and began goofing around in an obnoxious manner.

*Misawa's music then hit*



Misawa entered the ring and was shocked at what he was seeing. He began arguing with Cornette. Through his interpreters it was explained to Michaels that Misawa was happy the match would happen but was confused by HBK's new attitude. Michaels began making silly faces to all this.



Misawa went on to say he was hurt by this as he believed the business was about honour.

Michaels took out a hankee that had Misawa's face on it and began blowing his nose in an OTT manner pretending he was sobbing...Michaels eventually grabbed a mic.

HBK: Enough with the hero stuff. Make sure you interpreters here me loud and clear here. The guy who told you he respected you two weeks ago is gone. That guy was a phony and a liar. I am the most real thing on TV Misawa and I'm here to tell you this - I don't respect you. I don't respect your country. I don't respect your people. You might think you are the best in the biz but brother, believe me, you have never met a performer with as much passion as the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels.



HBK: As for you Jim Cornette - my terms are simple. Make the match no interference, no crazy stips. A one-on-one match between us to determine the better man and I'll sign on the dotted line.

Cornette: I know your terms Michaels. You told me them over the phone. It's all in there.

(Michaels claps in a silly sarcastic manner. He signs the papers and Misawa then follows suit.)



Cornette: It's official folks. The biggest match in our company's history will take place at Grapplemania. No interference allowed.

(Cornette goes to shake Michael's hand but Michaels begins laughing hysterically as Cornette and Misawa look on confused.

HBK: Don'tcha just love it when a plan comes together? I'm afraid you just signed away your company's future, Jimbo.

Cornette: What are you talking about?

HBK: Last week before my old pal Ricky Morton reawakened the guy you see before you, I was determined to retire. I had 'lost my smile' once again. And so desperate was the owner of this company to tie up my services for the PPV, that he tried to convince me to stay by offering me a new, shorter contract. One that I then decided to accept. A contract that runs until...Grapplemania.

I guess you have been so busy with this Tokyo show you failed to get the memo. I'm sure the owner has been trying to get a hold of you all week.

Now that my smile is firmly back on my face, unfortunately for you and the owner, I do NOT intend to retire whatsoever. Instead I am gonna do what I stopped Bret Hart from doing in 1997. I will take your World Title and bring it with me to a rival organisation and the only chance you clowns have of stopping me is this guy Misawa beating me in the ring but that just ain't gonna happen bub. You can think of this as the ultimate screwjob.

Cornette: You son of a bitch. You're not taking this title out of here. I'll sue you for everything you've got, you'll see.

HBK: Sue me? Uh aren't you the guy that brought in Nick Bockwinkel with his title from WECWF and had him parade it everywhere? No court will side with a hypocrite Jimbo and besides - there ain't a company in the world that won't want the services of the showstoppa.

I'll be well paid whereever I go. I could go anywhere I want. CWA, FCW, SWE. I could reunite with my good friend Vince McMahon in WECWF. I could finally make that move to HVCW or - and I like this idea a lot - maybe I'll go hook up with my best friend Hunter in BWA. That one would really hurt you wouldn't it Cornette? (he laughs hysterically)

Make no mistake - the Heartbreak Kid is leaving the building for good at Grapplemania and he's walking away with Misawa's World Title.

(Interpreters are relaying all of this to the fans and Misawa who looks on shocked. Michaels walks over to Misawa.

HBK: As for you LEGEND, allow me to tell you how I feel in a language that's universal...

(With that Michaels floors Misawa with some Sweet Chin Music as his music plays. He picks up the title and smiles and begins doing crotch chops to a shocked crowd as Cornette looks on in horror.)

Commentary: My goodness the old HBK is back alright and now he promises to screw this company out of its World Championship. Only Misawa can save us now from the brink of ruin. Damn you Shawn Michaels. Damn you, ya son of a bitch!

Commentator – Welcome to another episode of Spongey Wrestling Entertainment and what a show we have today. As announced last week the charismatic SWE Heavyweight champion Macho Man Randy Savage defends his championship against the equally charismatic Pope D’Angelo Dinero. What a main event that promises to be but it looks like we’ll be starting off this show with Wade Barrett and Drew McIntyre who are making their way to the ring.

In The Ring
Wade Barrett & Drew McIntyre make their way to the ring and carrying a union jack flag with them. Wade grabs a mic and asks the crowd to look at the perfect specimen of man standing before them and that is what England has to offer. He says there is nothing that even comes close here in Ireland. The crowd is continually booing. He goes on to say that he finds it beneath him as a proud Englishman to wrestle in a ****hole of a country like Ireland. Barrett can barely be heard above the booing. He goes on to say how disgraceful it is that D’Angelo Dinero is getting a title shot ahead of him and even goes on to say that maybe Savage is scared of facing him because he knows that he would easily win and become champion. The one thing for sure is that it’s only a matter of time before he is champion and he can leave this god forsaken country once and for all. Barrett continues by asking everyone to stand so they can sing the greatest anthem of all time and proceeds to attempt to sing God Save The Queen.

Finlay comes out to the stage and the crowd go wild. He has a mic with him and says he’s sick and tired of all the thrash talking about the beautiful country of Ireland. He asks the crowd to look at the specimen of man standing before you on this stage and wonder what this specimen can do to the pieces of **** standing in the ring. He drops the mic and runs to the ring with his shillelagh but both Barrett and McIntyre escape outside the ring and back up the ramp.

Match: The Godfather vs Rick ‘The Model’ Martel
Rick Martel comes out to the ring, grabs the mic and says that he was disgusted the way he lost his SWE Interprovincial championship and wants to get the belt back. His speech is shortlived as the Godfather’s music interrupts him. The Godfather makes his way to the ring and is followed by his posse of “ladies of the night”. The crowd love it and love the sight of all the beautiful ladies. He apologises for interrupting Martel but felt he needed to take care of bu’ness before the match. He tells Martel that according to his ledger he owes Godfather a lot of money for “services rendered” and he wants payment. Martel comments that this should be kept private and that he has an image to maintain and has found money is down since he lost his championship but once he gets it back he’ll sort what he owes. Godfather in a threatening voice says he’d better sort it quick.

The bell rings and the match starts and the Godfather starts at a very high tempo, too much for Martel. Godfather sets Martel up for the Ho Train but Martel ducks out of it in time. This gives Martel the advantage and he has Godfather reeling with a few dropkicks and backbreakers. He then poses for the crowd as the Godfather lay on the mat. The crowd boos heavily and one of the ‘hoes’ gets up on the apron. This distracts Martel enough for Godfather to give Martel a pimp drop and get the pin. That starts a party in the ring involving the Godfather and all the hoes. Winner: The Godfather

Stephanie McMahon’s Office
Wade Barrett & Drew McIntyre storm into Stephanie’s office and demands something be done about the shameful words spoken by Finlay. Stephanie agrees and proposes a match next week between McIntyre and Finlay. Both Barrett and McIntyre are happy with that. Stephanie adds that Barrett will be banned from ringside. This angers Barrett and McIntyre. Stephanie also adds that she wasn’t impressed with McIntyre’s behaviour last week in avoiding his match with the Godfather. She says that she has scheduled a match this week against Jamie Noble and his championship is on the line. McIntyre is furious. Stephanie finally adds that the match is next.

Match: SWE Interprovincial Champion Drew McIntyre vs Jamie Noble
Drew McIntyre is in the ring still angry at his exchanges with Stephanie McMahon. Wade Barrett is with him. Out comes Jamie Noble and has is new bodyguard Faarooq staggering behind him no doubt still intoxicated. McIntyre starts the match more aggressively and is throwing the smaller man Noble around the ring. A mistake by McIntyre allows Noble to build some offense. Noble applies a sleeper hold and McIntyre is fading. This prompts Barrett to get up on the apron to distract the referee. Noble breaks the hold to face up to Barrett but Faarooq runs around to take care of Barrett. He trips on his own feet though and falls over but luckily he manages to catch Barrett’s foot enough to make him fall off the apron. Noble turns back to face McIntyre who has got back to his feet and sluggishly runs at Noble to clothesline him. Noble ducks, proceeds to kick McIntyre in the gut and as McIntyre’s head is bent over, Noble connects with Paydirt, his signature underhook DDT and covers him for the pin. Winner and new SWE Interprovincial champion: Jamie Noble

Stephanie McMahon’s office
D’Angelo Dinero calls in to Stephanie’s office. The two smile at each other and Stephanie blushes (you can’t tell but Dinero is blushing too). Stephanie comments that she hasn’t seen Dinero all week. Dinero replies that after what happened last week he needed time to seek forgiveness from the man upstairs for his indiscretion. He also says he needs to seek forgiveness from Triple H for defiling his wife. Stephanie says that Triple H is more interested in sticking his head up her father’s ass than tending to her needs and no need for him to know what’s happening here. What happens in the SWE stays in the SWE (except when it’s on TV of course). Dinero reluctantly agrees and goes on to thank her for his title opportunity later tonight. Stephanie says it’s a reward for his tending of her needs and that he’d look well with gold around his waist. She also comments that she has more needs and closes the door to the office.

Match: Bob Backlund vs D’Lo Brown
D’Lo Brown is in the ring and has his chest strapped as a result of the beating he took at the hands of Kane last week. Bob Backlund comes out and has a mic with him. He says he is pissed off at how this company is treating him. He says that he is entitled to a rematch for the heavyweight championship and hasn’t got it yet and is forced to compete in a match against a nobody. He also says it was disgraceful that he was attacked last week by Goldberg and will deal with him in due course. He adds that if this disrespect continues he will be forced to take matters into his own hands. He subsequently gets in the ring and proceeds to target the rib area of Brown. Brown has no answer and when Backlund applies the crossface chicken wing Brown quickly taps. Backlund means business. Winner: Bob Backlund

Backstage
Jamie Noble is backstage with his bodyguard Faarooq. Noble is happy that he is now the SWE Interprovincial champion. He tells Faarooq that it is now his job to make sure he keeps his title. He says he’s going to leave the Spongezone so he can’t get challenged and when he’s gone that Faarooq will have to do his laundry. He says to make sure he scrubs really hard as there is some unwanted streaks on the inside of his wrestling gear.

Match: Goldberg vs Pat Patterson
Goldberg comes out to the ring and waits for his opponent but nobody comes out. Stephanie McMahon comes out with a mic and tells the crowd that Pat Patterson has been released and that she wished him the best in his future endeavors. She stresses that it had nothing to do with the fact he was gay but more that no-one would accept his challenge for a tables, ladders and closet match and tells Goldberg that he has a new opponent recently signed from the CWA. Out comes Hernandez as Goldberg’s new opponent. The two lock up but neither can get control and break. Both are showing their strength. A mistake by Goldberg allows Hernandez to get a few hits in. This does not last long as an attempted over the top rope dive misses Goldberg who ducks out of the way. This allows Goldberg to apply the Jackhammer to Hernandez and he gets the pin. As the referee raises Goldberg’s hand in victory Bob Backlund rushes out to attack Goldberg. Goldberg sees it in advance, ducks out of the way, comes off the rope and spears Backlund. Backlund rolls out of the ring in agony and retreats back up the ramp. Goldberg is laughing in the ring and celebrating his win. Winner: Goldberg

Backstage
Drew McIntyre is backstage still feeling the effects of his title loss earlier. Wade Barrett catches up with him and passes on his unhappiness at McIntyre losing his championship earlier. He points out that he better win next week against Finlay or he could be in for sterner punishment.

Match: Kane vs Tito Santana
Kane comes out to the ring and is booed as he waits in the ring. Tito Santana comes out with huge energy and runs to the ring. As soon as he gets to the ring he attacks Kane. The ref rings the bell and Kane is subjected to a flurry of offense from Santana. This all changes with one uppercut from Kane. That’s it for Santana as Kane destroys Santana ending it with a tombstone piledriver. Kane celebrates his win with his customary four rings on fire celebration. Winner: Kane

Backstage
D’Lo Brown and The Godfather catch up with Faarooq. They see him folding laundry and drinking beer. They comment on how far he has fallen since his days with the APA. They forcefully tell him that he’s too good to be a personal slave for a redneck midget and needs to slap himself out of this rut and work to get back to his former glories. Faarooq seems angered by what is said but soon backs down and continues with his duties.

Main Event: SWE Heavyweight Champion Macho Man Randy Savage vs ‘The Pope’ D’Angelo Dinero
The Pope comes out first. The crowd love it and they go wild when €20 notes start falling from the ceiling. Pope gets in the ring to wait for his opponent. Next out is the SWE Heavyweight Champion Macho Man Randy Savage. The crowd go mad too as the champion makes his way to the ring milking the cheers. The two are in the ring and Savage points to Pope’s shades. The Pope takes off his shades and gives them to Savage. Savage puts Pope’s shades on and poses for the crowd. Pope then takes Savage’s shades and puts them on which leads to a twirl synonymous with Randy Savage. The crowd love it. The two get ready for their match, shake hands and the bell rings.

The match starts back and forth with each wrestler acknowledging the crowd after an impressive move. Pope takes control with some powerful punching combinations. He sets Savage up leaning over the second rope and leapfrogs the top rope to give Savage a guillotine. He poses with the crowd and they love it. He gets back in the ring and fires Savage into the corner and sets him up for the D’Angelo Dinero Express. He runs towards Savage but Savage escapes before Pope can hit the DDE. Momentum has turned and Savage begins to get some offense in. A few suplexes and atomic drops later and the Pope is struggling. He’s laying in the middle of the ring and Savage points to the top rope indicating his signature elbow drop move to finish off the match. He gets up on the top rope ready to fly when Wade Barrett and Drew McIntyre come ringside to throw Savage off the top rope. The ref rings the bell to signal the end of the match. McIntyre throws Pope outside the ring and the two of them begin to assault Savage. Savage is helpless but the Pope somehow gets back in the ring and makes the save. Barrett and McIntyre retreat up the ramp and Pope helps Savage back to his feet. Winner by DQ and still SWE Heavyweight Champion: Macho Man Randy Savage

Sheamus and Rikishi formed the all-Irish alliance and immediately targeted PWF Champion Hulk Hogan, who was saved by his old friend Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake.

Greg Valentine pinned Crash Holly to win the 24/7 Championship

The New Age Outlaws defeated Rhythm & Blues to become the new Tag-Team Champions.

Brutus Beefcake was attacked by a mystery assailant. As a result he couldn't compete in the main event and was replaced by R-Truth who teamed with Hulk Hogan against Rikishi and Sheamus who picked up the victory.

Greg, still asleep, rolls over.

Ref shrugs his shoulders as Crash tries to pin Greg's shoulders back down.

Greg wakes up: Hey, what the ****! Get off me.

J.R.: Oh my!

He pushes Crash to the floor. Suddenly they go at it. Heads banging off everything. Finally Crash gives up and leaves, but Greg stands there looking angry and a little bloody.

Greg: Sneaky bastard, I was trying to sleep.

Goes to a shot of the crowd.

J.R.: Hello and welcome to PWF Impact! We are at a sold out in arena in Atlantic City, New Jersey

"Here comes the money..........."

J.R.: And here comes Shane McMahon, the new owner of PWF impact. A lot of mysteries surrounding him lately, much of which he hasn't spoken about yet. We are yet to hear his plans for the PWF since he bought it over two weeks ago. I wonder if he will clarify some of this tonight.



Shane: You know, all my life I've lived in the shadow of my father. Even when I bought WCW I couldn't get the best stars to invade WWE like I always dreamed. I wanted to show that I am the man of the McMahon family. The failure of that invasion is my biggest regret. Now, for once I will prove that I can be better than my father ever was. I've signed the best ever WWE stars, the best WWE commentators, the best WWE everything. This Federation will take all that was good about the WWE and none of the bad. Say goodbye to PG, cheesy jokes and divas matches.

Shane looks shocked.

J.R.: I don't think Shane was expecting this. It's the longest-serving WWE champion in history. What is he doing here in the PWF?

Bruno: I'm sick to death of modern wrestling, or should I say, "Sports Entertainment." The McMahon family have torn apart everything that was good about wrestling and replaced it with bikini models and stunt actors. Here is a reminder of what wrestling used to be like.

JR: And...bah God! A steel chair, straight into the back of Scotty. Are they friends with Crash? Oh no, they are assaulting him too.

Sheamus: This is feckin' great!!!

J.R.: Good God almighty, what the hell is going on here!

Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, the referee has declared a no contest due to a double disqualification.

J.R.: Dammit, they just ruined a great match. For God's sake!!

Suddenly Pete Gas picks up a microphone.

Everyone is booing.

Pete Gas: Haha you stupid dumb marks, actually trying to enjoy this rediculous spectacle.

Sheamus: What the...?

Joey Abs: Stupid idiots. Probably think wrestling's real or something.

Pete Gas: We couldn't stand by and watch this rediculous Scotty 2 Hotty push anymore. He can't wrestle, he's useless on the mic and he's only getting pushed by that idiot mark-enabler, Shane-O-Mac, because he's an old friend.

Sheamus finally defeats the Road Dogg after a Brogue Kick. After the match he continues assaulting the Road Dogg.

J.R.: And here comes the Bad Ass Billy Gunn to stop this, oh but he gets thrown straight out of the ring. Whatever you think of him, there is no denying Sheamus' in-ring ability, he has dominated again tonight. Sheamus is going to Battle-Mania, but which champion will he face? That's the question on everyone's lips. Find out later tonight, as for the first time ever (I believe), the two longest serving WWE Champions in history will go one-on-one. I can't wait.

Backstage Inverview

Shane: I want to re-iterate the rules from last week. With the exception of the 24/7 Hardcore Title, anybody who attacks someone else outside the ring or interferes in matches will be suspended.

"ARE YOU READY FOR SOME BEEFCAKE?"

Brutus Beefcake entrance. Crowd cheers

J.R.: Certainly Shane's new rules regarding suspending anybody who interferes, paid off last week. As we had a clean victory for Sheamus and Rikishi for Hogan and Beefcake. In a related matter, Sheamus has re-joined me at ringside. Congratulations on the victory over Road Dogg. You are going to Battle-Mania.

Sheamus: Oh, so you decide to lick my arse all of a sudden. You know you remind me of my cousin Tom, coz he was a feckin' eejit. And a lickarse!

Rikishi entrance. Crowd boos.

Sheamus: Rikishi is gonna eat Beefcake for breakfast, and then ****e it out of his arsehole.

J.R.: Nice image. We all know you attacked Brutus last week.

Sheamus: You'd want to find some evidence to back those accusations up fella, or maybe you will find yourself beaten up next.

J.R.: Don't threaten me live on air. And please let these guys fight cleanly, we don't need any interference to help Rikishi.

Sheamus: Ah, will ya ever shut up! Rikishi doesn't need my help.

Rikishi is mostly in control.........

J.R.: And Beefcake hits the Apocalypse! Rikishi is down. And...wait a minute....someone just reached out from under the ring. They've got Beefcake with both hands and dragged him out of the ring. Whoever that is, is wearing a mask. And Beefcake's getting dragged under the ring. What the hell is happening under there. (pause).

Rikishi back on his feet now. Beefcake had the match nearly won. And he's fought his way out from under the ring, but he's busted open. Good god. Clambering back into the ring now, oh no, RIKISHI KICK!!!!!!! And the pin, 1.....goddamit, 2, kickout Brutus......3. Rikishi's won it. But who the hell was under the ring helping him.

Sheamus: Shane did announce that whoever interferes in matches will be suspended, JR.

J.R.: Yeah so they hid under the ring and wore an mask. Here's an idea...don't interfere in the damn matches, and you don't need to come up with these rediculous plots. (pause). I can't believe what happened here.

Sheamus: Wait, look at Brutus.

J.R.: Brutus has got out of the ring and he's looking underneath to find out who that guy was but, its' dark in there. Needle in a haystack.

Sheamus: I suppose you think I attacked him there as well.

J.R.: I stand corrected, but I suppose you and Rikishi are getting someone to do your dirty work for you.

Sheamus: You're talking ****e!

J.R.: Well if it's not you or Rikishi, then who the hell is attacking Brutus Beefcake, first last week and now this week!!

J.R.: Two incredible matches still to come with the longest-serving WWE Heavyweight Champion and longest serving WWE Intecontinental Champion, both looking to take their titles back!!!

This is already long enough so let's just say R-Truth defeated Honky Tonk Man after a hard fought battle, to retain the Intercontinental Championship.

J.R.: Well, what an incredible night!!! And the main event is still to come.

Announcer: This match is for the PWF Championship. Introducing first, the challenger, weighing in at 280 pounds, BRUNO SAMMARTINO!!!!!!!



Voodoo Child (Slight Return) plays. The crowd cheers.

Announcer: And his opponent, the champion, weighing in at 302 pounds, Hulk Hogan!!!!!!!!!



J.R.: I bet you are hoping for Sammartino in this one, seen as you hate Hogan so much.

Sheamus: Actually I hope Hogan wins. I was looking forward to destroying Hulkamania once and for all at Battle-Mania!!

Bruno wears Hogan down with numerous submission manoeuvers. Finally he tires and with the will of the crowd, Hogan scores the win after a leg drop.

The announcer: "The winner of this match, and still PWF Champion, HULK HOGAN!!!"

Sheamus: Yes!!!! My plot to start Sheamus-Mania is coming to fruition!! I can't wait to beat the hell out of that yellow-orange bastard in two weeks time!

J.R.: I dunno about that, but good god, what a match. Another epic encounter here at the PWF, see ya next time!!!
