Connecting Laptop to HDTV

    Hey,

    Hope you guys can help me here.

    I'm trying to connect my laptop to my tele - the tele has a usb port, s-video port and a HDMI port.......
    However, my laptop is a piece of c.rap (or i think it is anyway), its a Compaq Presario M2000 Series

    This laptop has vga (in think) port, and what looks like an S-video port.

    I understand that connecting by S-vid. is a possibility, but apparently the quality isn't as good.....Is there anyway of connecting using HDMI (even tho my comp doesnt have the connector - i.e. is there an adaptor i can buy?)
