Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    As the last one was such a success I said I would start early, not going with the first weekend in April as it's Easter.

    Pick a date and we can go from there :)

    On a location, unless you have been in the pub and know it's suitable for a large group please don't suggest it. Also I will look for wheel chair accessible places!

    I think a saturday is probably a better bet for people that have to travel from afar! (you know - that place outside the pale called "the country")

    Pretty sure I'm good for all Saturdays! :)

    It's hard to say for sure, we didn't have a tshirt or a sign, maybe some weren't Boardsies. I know I was talking for ages to a guy who didn't know what I was on about when I asked for his username :pac;

    Ah but we could use our womanly persuasion on him :) bet he a sucker for a tight dress with a low neck line. Awec I've never had trouble getting a drink in either, I hate d2 nightclub but the option is there !

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,925 ✭✭✭Otis Driftwood

    Ehhhh,neither Diceys nor D2 are really conducive to socialising in fairness.The ideal place would be somewhere like Cassidys as in people can mingle,chat etc.

    +1 can't stand the Diceys at all. Also, who in their right mind will go to a place that charges over 6 euro for a pint?

    You are taken so your short dresses and low cut tops are powerless on me!

    Is the county Dublin?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35,954 ✭✭✭✭Larianne

    See this is the annoying thing. When there was the kerfuffle about Wheelchair access the last time, I looked up bars, some say 'wheelchair friendly' but when I think of where toilets are in some of them they are downstairs. So I think 'wheelchair friendly' may mean you can go into the bar no problem with a chair but you can't take a leak in them. :cool:

    Like The Long Stone is listed as wheelchair friendly as is The Duke and The Church but I'm not sure if they have W/C toilets on the ground level??
