Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Rave: said toddler smiling and saying "Happy day daddy"(in broken toddler hiberno-english) when you pull her out of bed in the morning on your birthday

Trumps my earlier rant by a billion.

Didnt go for a run this morning, because I was just annoyed with the world and myself and the Christmas shopping that I have not done ( I even committed the unpardonable sin of blaming the weather)
Regretted this decision after an hours unsuccessful shopping.

Went for a run, and all is right with the world. The only regret is that I forgot this morning that running is always the answer to a bad mood.

When your legs feel good, your body feels good and your health is good and you can run everyday (and no I'm not drunk ;)) Actually, that's another rave. Training for a race just before Xmas. Everyone else is hungover everyday and I feel super:D

Finishing work for Christmas today! Being back running regularly after lots of injuries and spring marathon training under way! All I need now is for Santa to bring me something nice:)

A 15 hour work day, four hours of lousy sleep, and still getting out for a 10 mile run in horrific conditions, while everyone else is wearing xmas jumpers, stuffing their faces with beer and cheap mince pies, and getting bored watching Die Hard 3 on the tellybox.

    Smug much? Abso-fricking-lutely I am.

10 miles last night, ran past the Tiesto/Calvin Harris gig at the O2 and not one scamp attempted to clothes line me on they way past them.

Dogs. They get a bad press here but personally, I love when a dog runs over to say hello.

While I'm not a huge dog fan I'm not against them either. I was doing an interval session in the park one time and a big Husky joined in. His owner just shouted that he won't hurt, he loves runners and to carry on with my run. He stayed in front of me and to the right throughout. When I was recovering he just kept looking at me, ready to leg it again. After a few intervals I "raced" him back to where his owner was and she caught him.

It was almost enough to make me want one myself... I bet if I got one though it'd be a dick and constantly try run between my legs

Agree. No such thing as a bad dog. Just a bad owner.

Managed to time my long run between rain showers. Not a drop of rain for the 90 minutes I was out - sitting here looking at sleet falling outside the window now. :)

Do you find it easier to consume the craft beers whilst on the treadmill as opposed to the roads? ;)
