Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi zarquon

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,439 ✭✭✭Boots234

I'm playing Ingscanonlygetbetter, we have very similar teams so there should only be a few points between us. A big difference could be me having Coutinho and he having Sterling, that could swing it either way

That's me, yep same front 3 but midfield is pretty different though. I'll be a Villa fan later on today :D

Siggy is sitting prettily as first sub on Irish son's bench.

Really hope those points don't see the light of day:P
Did somebody post this morning that Hazard won't feature on Monday??

I'd say there's no chance of me getting those points :( Its ok though, Hendo is gonna repay my faith in him :pac:

P.S. Nice goal by Weimann :D

Hmmm. A brace for Coutinho is looking like my only way of clawing back lemlins siggy points.

    I'm against Good Willian Hunting

20-19 to him at the moment but he has Sigurdsson coming off the bench

Down to my Costa, Lovren, Henderson against his Debuchy and Giroud.

Hoping Giroud doesn't play as his second sub is Bruce

I would say that a Liverpool clean sheet and a Lovren goal is my only way back here, I'm 4 behind and it's your Henderson and Hazard against my Lovren. I was hoping to get off to a flyer here but it's not looking too good so far. Those two goals against QPR and Stoke were a killer blow, I had it on the radio and it went from one straight to the other, if I had a dog he would have got a good kick:o

Ramsey moves Monkey Business back into the lead. Both have three Chelsea left so it's down to Coutinho to save the tie for me.

    So I'm basically screwed....

That would be me, Im not very inventive with my team name ;0

Looking like its going to be a close one for us this week. I had Sturridge in my team til recently so hopefully Costa can outscore him

We need to put all these names in the first post. I'm sure it'll all become obvious in a few weeks but it's nice to know who's who.

Done. I lead Donal 49 to 33. We both have the same three Chelsea to go so he needs 16 from Coutinho.

    Stranger things have happened.

41-31 to my Erzgebirge Scrooge, but Syria Ah has Cahill, Cesc and Dzecko to play, and also has Siggy sitting as second sub with 13.
Can my Costa, Azpilicueta and Hazzard save my bacon or will my stars confidence be lost.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,022 ✭✭✭✭Iused2likebusts

36 v 36 my sterling v your manquillo and coutinho.

Sterling just got me off to a wining start as we both have fab and costa remaining.

Ah, didn't realise you only had three defenders so Bruce is your autosub.

Since we both have Terry and Fabregas it looks like I need Costa to score to steal the win.

Thanks for that Couts old buddy.

Unless John Terry scores an OG and gets sent of I shall start the season pointless.

Third lowest score of the gang so far. Early favourite for the drop I fear.

Probably a good sign that we don't all have exactly the same teams!

Not true, i have noted that Rory has the exact same team as me apart from Isgrove. He scored higher though due to not benching sig. Even with similiar teams benching and captaincy will be a differentiator so i imagine draws will be very rare. I could be wrong though as i have never done H2H leagues before.

Was touch and go for a while last night against Syria Ah (dathijjj) but thanks to a BP from Costa got my season off to an expected but nervous start.
Watch out for Syria Ah though, serious title contenders and will be there or there abouts in the run in.
Next for my Erzgebirge Scrooge is FriendsInLoewPlaces (fhfc), who will be hurting I'm sure form this weeks loss but will probably be in the hunt come prize giving time.

Whats the craic with points hits in these head to head leagues? Would they take 4 points away from your score if you make 2 transfers this week. I'm not actually planning on doing it this week but I'm sure I will sooner or later.

One game is a bit much to declare a "clear favourite". It is a bit like celebrating someone for leading at the first 1km point of a marathon
