Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    With an increasing workload Halcrow Group is looking to grow its design team in Northern Ireland. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, motivated Graduate Engineer to work on a variety of major highway & water schemes on a 6 month fixed term contract. The right candidate will be enthusiastic, self motivated and technically competent. They will have the opportunity to work across engineering disciplines as Halcrow continues to expand its client base in roads, resources, ports, water, drainage, rail and transport planning.

    Regular trips may be required to travel to the Dublin Office.

    · an ability and flexibility to undertake a range of tasks and duties

    The priorities of this role include the following:

    · liaison with other technical and professional staff at all levels of seniority and disciplines
    · assist with the design of elements of roads and civil infrastructure schemes
    · assistance with project controls and financial forecasting
    · take direct responsibility for the timely delivery of allocated tasks
    · technical report writing as necessary

    The ideal candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge:

    · you must be a dynamic individual with good communication skills and be able to work as part of a JV Team
    · you should be a team player and a good multi-tasker able to work in JV environment
    · Civil Engineering masters degree
    · the candidate must have a valid driving licence and have a vehicle available for travel at work
    · sound and relevant engineering knowledge gained through learning, experience and exposure to projects
    · experience in road and infrastructure design
    · excellent written and oral communication skills
    · a positive approach to problem solving
    · ability to work within time and budget constraints
    · ability to work as part of a team

    Minimum qualifications:

    · a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering
