Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The way some people spell phoenix. Just because Scroobious Pip says it's pheonix does not infact make it pheonix, it is phoenix.

    My "best friend".

I've mentioned her already on here but I need a rant before I go nuts on her ass. My dad was admitted to ICU with pneumonia yesterday, he also has cancer so ya know, had enough on his plate without this. She is getting married at the weekend and has asked me to look after her dog for two weeks. I text her as I was upset about my dad and she replied "shyt, that probably means you cannot look after the dog now." Disgusted, I didnt text back, and three hours later I recieved "will you still be able to do my nails my eyebrows and my waxing" (in the lead up to the wedding) - I text her back and said I could do eyebrows and nails but only because I promised her and its short notice to find someone else, and explained I couldn't do the wax. She never text me back and put up a Facebook status thanking everyone for helping her out, and sayin how excited she was coming up to the wedding and how people let her down but she was not going to let that get her down as this was her special time. She tagged everyone that she's friends with except for me. So not only did she put me in bad humor yesterday she has today too.

(She demoted me from bridesmaid last year because I broke my ankle and couldn't go dress shopping!)

3rd day without running water - One of those things you really under estimate especially in 30 degree heat. I stink, my clothes stink, the bathroom stinks, everythings filthy and no drinking water.

Will certainly pay that bill, not an place to make a saving.

Honestly that is no friend. I think I'd start drifting away from her as soon as the wedding is over. I can't believe she said that though after you saying about your father. That is so NOT ON!!! I'm fuming over it and its nothing to do with me!!!

If your talking about jaywalkers who walk infront of cars, then your making a huge assumption that they actually think!

Got my haircut and the guy just lobs a quarter of tube of gel in my hair and spikes it up!

One:I don't really gel my hair much. And never spike it up.
Two: He used way too much. It dripped onto my forehead and had to go home and wash it off.
Three: He did it without asking.
Four: He didn't give me the student discount I normally get there, and was too pissed off about my hair to notice.

Note to future self avoid that hairdresser.

Car drivers who break the lights. Had one this morning at the corner of baggot street and Merrion Square. Looked at me like i had two heads, despite me pointing at the green man. He then pulled into the Department of Finance, no surprise there really since it proves what sort they hire in there if they can't even follow simple traffic lights

Breaking red lights is a serious issue. I saw one person do it yesterday and she nearly caused an accident and continued driving as if she had not got a care in the world.

Ordered a phone online a few days ago today they rang to ask me to confirm the address which I did and they said they'd send an email and I'd need to confirm some other details. I checked the email they wanted to send a copy of my passport/drivers license and a utility bill. I cancelled I emailed and told them I wasn't sending the details that they should either cancel or send the phone. They cancelled it then they sent an email to tell no funds had been take that they were probably just reserved in the account and I should ring the bank so the funds will appear in my account. I rang the bank they told me they'd taken the money out that I just have to wait for them to refund. So annoying making me ring the bank for no reason they said it could take up to 10days. I just hope they give me the money back.
