Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Was wondering why he wasnt on the toy show last nite.:confused: .. I'd say Tubridy didnt want him there, he gave him an awful lot of abuse to Tubridy when he was on The Panel there a few weeks ago...

Its pretty obvious at this stage Tubs cant take abuse in any form. Like the time he had Gordon Ramsay on who was slagging off his stick insect physique and dumbo-size ears, he went on the afternoon show later that week and said he wouldnt have him back on the LLS. Couldnt even say it to his face...

FFS, youre in the public eye Tubridy. Its just one part of your massively overpaid job...to be able to take criticism with good humour. Ramsay was only attempting to create a bit of banter.

If you can't stand the heat Ryan....

    What was I thinking?

Just settling down for it. I reckon it will be a laugh tonight.
I love the guy on the news at the protest with the 'Down With This Sort Of Thing' placard :-D

Not impressed with the way they kept moving it later and later.. It's like The Vincent Browne Show... Cant believe they move the news and this show for that STUPID Winning Streak...

This is sickening. This fat slob was the biggest cheerleader for Bertie Ahern and the Celtic Tiger in journalism. You're part of the problem too Ballsy O'Connor.

With the balls up I made of a simple bit of DIY I did here, you would think I had drank those three bottles through a straw, and THEN started ....

Edwina is certainly not making herself popular... that little stunt counting out the money and saying that she would give us 8% interest did make her popular...

I made the same point she is making about the benefits though.. Why would the British give us 8 Billion euro so that WE can pay TWICE the benefits that they pay their OWN people.. Doesnt really make sense...

**** off back over the pond ya wagon and take ray with you.

What a patronising bitch ! Get her off our airwaves.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,510 ✭✭✭Cole

Darcy was embarrassingly awful, trying to get in on the whole trend of public figures givng us their 'profound' thoughts on our current economic crisis and playing to the crowd...talk about being out of his depth. What next? Amanda Brunker on next week offering her analysis on the four year austerity plan:rolleyes:

Well I know what you're saying, but surely the average punter on the street in Britain is saying the same things that we were saying about the Greek pensions....

I hope that bitch hasn't reproduced. Think the eggs thing had more to do with her own personal stance on Salmonella. Wouldn't it be ironic if she got a bad egg for breakfast tomorrow and died!

That's a sign of ignorance. Fr/Ger is only bailing us out to save the Euro.

Charity died in Calcutta a few years back.

She could explain things very well, as Ireland's situation is a lot like her tits: They grew very large and were the talk of the town; everyone wanted in on the deal. Unfortunately, they grew bigger and bigger, so huge that her back couldn't sustain them and there had to be significant reductions. Now they're in a sorry state and there isn't much hope for the future. Bleak years ahead, they might sink even further to the ground.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,089 ✭✭✭ascanbe

Why have Edwina Currie on now? O'Connor obviously went looking for any Tory politician he could have over to trumpet the Sunday Independent 'Public service are to blame for everything' line.
And why do we care so much about what 'them across the water' and others think about us; it's like we've immediately shifted back into low self-esteem mode.
Why don't we have the guts to fcukin stand up for ourselves?
We're about to bankrupt ourselves, taking on the debt of foreign banks, because we 'don't want to look bad'.
Time this country grew some balls.
