Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am a carer for my mother with Dementia and I know down the line I may need a carer in. At the moment it's fine and I have lots of respite. However I want to start the ball rolling and do some research about carers in Dublin there are so many to choose from and of course they are going to plug there only whilst I'm sure they are good I would love to hear if anyone has dealt with a good homecare/homehelp facility in Dublin any experiences and recommendations would be appreciated pm if you know of any good places as this is all new to me.

You should probably look at standards, such as Fetac Level 5 training and experiences from other customers, then make a judgement on who is best for providing care.
I know that HIQA publish inspection reports on their inspections of care homes, and that may be a factor later, well worth seeing how prospective centres have scored before choosing. They do not seem to have checks on home help, though the standards of training should be the same.
