Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Possibly had a front end tip and repaired too as it has pre facelift grills on, no idea why anyone would go back to those on a facelift car other than to save costs.

    Is it? Is it the kidney grille you think looks off? Looks identical to my car, also a 2004, silver, sport, mine is a 525i auto

    Agree with the dreamer assessment though, I don't think I would get 2k for mine which is why I'm just going to keep it, pretty sale proof these cars. Just as well I am pretty fond of it

    Haha I have a small liking for them :p I have both a Pre-Facelift Touring and Facelifted Saloon so the difference was immediate to me :D

    Its a genuine S6. Its also the only one currently for sale in the country so impossible to compare it with much.     Ok, I've just done the maths on the years again and I reckon it must've been 2008 or 2009 when he bought it. Car is 00 though and not 02. Still has it.

    Don't compare to that car as it's pretty much fecked engine wise. Will run smooth as a clock but burn a litre of oil a week.

    I sold it for less than 6k, current guy is a dreamer.

    Ford dropped €5k off the ST list price during the "Real Deal" event they had recently. The car in the link is an ST2 but even that was dropped to 23k apparently.

    I wanted a MK5 GTI before I bought my OPC, but it was at least €2-3k more for a similar year and mileage,
    this GTI is almost double what I paid for my OPC, It looks lovely and has leather and DSG but €12k is mental for a 08 golf, I have seen a few R32's for less,

    I am looking up 07/08 GTI mk5 and Prices are just all over the place. 8-9k and in last week or two a good few came up for 10k++!!! There was one for sale at 6650eu for ages, then it went to 8k! I am sorry, but there is no way I am paying 9-10k for 08 golf gti.
    MK6 Gti is even worse. Very few on and I bet thats why prices are like this.

    2011 mk6 GTI Bog standard 18k!!!

    One mk6 GTI came up, 09 for almost 11k, which the very first one, that I think is okayish priced.
