Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I don't think I've ever been in the Duke either, and it'll be my first boards beers. Pray for me.

A way for socially awkward, lonely people to meet friends. Great idea.

    So you're coming then?

We usually just sit looking at our phones, posting on boards anyway.

No I am having a meet up with my friends on PROC that day.

Gets a bit awkward when you get banned by the person sitting beside you in the pub. But Ho Hum!

    PROC

    I think you're spelling it wrong :)

Unless you're from D4, then it sounds about right.

Just clothes. Its a regular pub. But there is a nice area upstairs that can be reserved....if we are expecting about 20 or so.

Does it be busy? Like would I need to book an area?

Its a big enough pub and does get the after work crowd on a saturday night. They may also be showing a soccer game which is a projector on to a screen that pulls down between two areas downstairs. Kinds ruins the place a little.

Would be no harm to try to book if you are expecting 20 or so. Otherwise just arrange to meet upstairs which is normally quieter than downstairs.

That sounds like I'll end up with sore facial features and a dodgy neck.

Arrange to meet up with a like minded attendee before hand.
Have a scoup together in a different pub and then join the rest feeling a bit braver and comfortable that you at least know one person who will talk with you!
