Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yeah I found that about him as well. When he sold me Megaman X and the Mega CD I felt bad and told him it was worth more than what he was looking for and he said he got them cheap so is passing the price on. Totally sound guy.

Miss his shop, spent Thursdays there playing power diggerz, the rarest game I've even trade him, it was Crazy, fit the shop well.

He says if he comes across another he'll let me know, so no worries.

Here's a really interesting joystick for a good price.

It works with both the PCE and the Megadrive.

It's a clone of the Neo Geo AES stick (apparently it has microswitches too!) and oddly, the buttons are modeled after the Megadrive arcade stick.

I had an offer of £24 but withdrew it as I just don't have the space for another stick.

I can't find any info about them online anywhere. Oddly, there's a compartment at the bottom for batteries and looks to be a wireless indicator light on the front of it. I wonder did it originally come with a wireless receiver too?

One down side, the cable has a bit of a break on it. It works, but requires some fiddling. Easy fix though.

    that didn't take long

Nah they've been selling off their gaming stuff a long time now. there was plenty of 360 and PS3 stuff in there too along with things like VCR to DVD kits and the like. Most of the stuff is unofficial though. I bought the headset to use with the 360 and pc and schtuff :)

although thats just to make myself feel better about not owning a wii u :'(

Very low volume on these make them hard to recommend based on the already low volume of the gamepad (and 3ds!) turtle beach m5's are a great alternative way to go for a cheap set of headphones for the wii u.

If it came with Mario 3D World and a Pro controller then it might be mildly tempting. Will wait til Christmas and see how it looks then I reckon.

So it's 275 for a WiiU with Mario 3D World? That's very tempting indeed.

I'm really starting to warm to the idea of this gamepad screen. Just kind of dawned on me how much I'll probably enjoy it as I really do love Nintendo handhelds (and it could more or less be viewed as a fancy handheld)

Only the limited edition Zombi U bundle came with it I think?

I tell you what it's great for, proper, proper Snes emulation. The vc stuff on it is class, & honestly, as a controller itself, it's perfectly fine. I have yet to use my pro controller, over a year on.

I use the pro controller a fair bit with Mario 3D World... Land or whichever it is.

It's a bit annoying that it doesn't work with Sonic: Lost World though as the battery in the WiiU Gamepad is shockingly bad.

I can't have a PSU connected to it as I game either as the charger is wired to a docking station beside the TV.

It was my birthday some time there after Christmas, horrible time, and my other half done me up a lovely card and its centrepiece was T-Rex eating George Contanza. As one of my favorite lines in any movie comes from Jurassic Park and its, 'when you gotta go, you gotta go.'
Anyway that movie scared the crap outta me as well when I was younger, just the bit where the Rapter opens the door. Couldn't sleep all night, fun times.

Yeah up until that point I was safe in the knowledge that if dinosaurs ever came back to roam the earth again, we'd all be safe behind our locked doors.

Give them a few weeks and they'll be picking locks too :(

The only time I saw a 100% legit gold cart for sale was when Pat the NES punk got his. He bought it from someone who had gotten it from a competition winner and he had proof of the original purchase and Nintendo official list of winners.

He never said...I'd say around the 15'000 mark. They seem to usually go for around that.

He offered both of them on pawn stars for 35'000...grey and gold carts

    Let me guess... *cracks knuckles

Pat walks into the store, & says he has some rare Nintendo games to sell. Gives the shpiel on them, & names his price.
The guy behind the counter more than likely just so happens to have a buddy who knows about these things, & will come in and advise.
The buddy comes in, verifies the carts & puts a value on them.
The guy behind the counter then sticks in a low ball offer, & explains its a business they run & they can't offer retail prices
    Pat concedes slightly
The guy behind the counter goes up a little
They're both miles apart & call it a day.

It will of course, not have been a complete set up from the beginning, & had nothing at all to do with generating publicity or discussion

    /sarcasm :o

    Or on another day:

Q: Hi there, I've a piece of chewing gum I found on the street. My friend said it was chewed by Bill Clinton, he can tell by the tooth indentations.
Chum Lee - I'll give you 25k for it.

It's nonsense, with all due respect to that chap, he's only there as a tourist attraction as he's part of the tv show. He shouldn't be anywhere near big dollar deals like that, & I very much doubt he ever is.
