Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I found plenty to smile about on this glorious day. Freedom from a week of grandchildren & a walk in the autumnal sun. Heaven!;)

Ah no! there's more to a perfect day than heroin. The song is only implicit

I have a smile on my face that if it got any wider it would meet at the back of my head. I have just got back from seeing the cardiologist at the hospital. He has given me the all clear. I have to carry on with the meds, but I don't have to go back to see him any more. As far as heart attacks go I am unlikely to suffer with another one in the foreseeable future if I am a reasonably good boy.

    YIPPEE :)

It's amazing what you find on the internet on a dark and dreary Sunday morning. I needed to be cheered up and this did the trick.

I am almost sure Mr. Bean is in that photo.

And this one just broke me up..

JB and looksee have discovered a long lost thread from the deep dark archives of the deep dark forum that is O&O :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,108 ✭✭✭Jellybaby1

We women are the only ones who look into dark corners! It needs dusting Looksee, fetch a cloth! :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,773 ✭✭✭✭looksee

I'm not dusting it, there might be spiders .

So are you going to report us for reviving a zombie thread Rube?

(It wasn't me, it was her wat reopened it...) :o:D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,108 ✭✭✭Jellybaby1

What would make it 'zombie' then? Often wondered but never asked before. I've seen posters knuckles rapped for doing this. No point in opening another thread on the same subject when this one still works. I'm sure something else will make me smile in the future too. :):):) See how thweet I can be? Mods really can't be angry at me for very long. (flutters eyelashes once more) :)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,108 ✭✭✭Jellybaby1

Are you sure that's a duster? How long is it since you even saw a duster? Would you really recognise one if you saw one? Come now, its really a white flag of surrender, innit? :D

Come on, anyone else with a smile to share?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,551 ✭✭✭Rubecula

The third verse almost brings tears to the eyes. Pop Marlene Dietrich's name into Google Images. What a doll she was, and wore some very saucy frocks too!

Orders came for sailing somewhere over there
All confined to barracks was more than I could bear
I knew you were waiting in the street
    I heard your feet
    But could not meet
    My Lili of the lamplight
    My own Lili Marlene
