You wont get stung with a $15 DVD. Even when you factor in postage this offer is cheaper.

Get the RF one from 2000 instead. 5 hours that you honestly won't regret spending your time watching.

He's done about 2 or 3 of them for RF, but i'm pretty sure the one from 2000 is about 5 hours long over 2 discs. Not the On The Road one. Some of them did really long ones around that time, Cornette did a long one, and so did Raven.

Ah right must have an newer one so,that on the road idea is great but the raven and jake ones where terrible.
Seems the selling point is 80% sat in a "locker room"

The one with the really weak ending? I'd probably watch the Taker matches for the spectacle

So instead of weak endings you want weak beginnings, middles and occasionly ends instead.

No, I tend to want strong matches from start to finish. Also the ending in that match is particularly bad

Yes but it is better than the majority of those matches.

Considering Kane vs. Snitsky made the DVD that doesn't surprise me.

Is the No Way Out tag match between Edge and Christian, The Dudleys and Kane and Taker not any good. Sounds like it could be promising enough

Not worth paying for or being excited about in my view. Dont think anyone has the feelings I have towards the Kane set for the new Eddie DVD.

Personally I think these DVDs should not be released until the wrestler is nearing retirement. I think releasing a 2/3/4 dic compilation for any wrestler still active with plenty more "miles in the tank" just cheapens the affect for when the more important ones come out (Flair, Hart, Foley, Perfect, Rock Austin). Remember when Flair's came out. it was something special. Same could be said for Bret Hart's. it was a genuine look back over their careers (yes I know Flair wrestled for a few years after his but you can't deny he was "winding down").
I don't see how people go out and buy these multi pack DVDs for wrestlers that still have plenty of years left in them (HHH, Kane) ..it's only going to be replaced with a bigger collection in a few years time when that wrestler actually does retire.(or should that be "retire" :))

If the WWE wants to make money from DVDs they should keep releasing the 1 disc "best of" that they have been for the last few years. And save the multi disc "looking back on the career of" until it actually means something.

It is one of theIr most profitable revenue generators. Half of WWE's revenue comes from "history" (DVDs & WWE 24/7.)

I agree with Endaaaagh to a certion extenet WWE should hold off doing feature length career documentarys until a Wrestler's career is done.

I don't know, I'd doubt there'd be any interest in a documentary free kane DVD if he wasn't wrestling anymore. Most of his fans are kids these days and his old fans have moved on (mostly, KKV and Kane-n-Nite being the exception) so the kids would need him on TV promoting it to harass their parents.

As for people like Hunter and HBK, who are still very active but have a back catalogue worth publishing, it's better to have the DVD than to not have it

I agree too but it's not going to happen because they will do it both ways ala the Flair dvd's and still sell them

Because like the owen match im sure it was a wrestling classic and not pure sports entertainment like with hogan and the "gay couple"

Perfect did his best to put Edge over in that match even though it was on Heat and at the tail end of Perfects career

Infact i think in his short return he tried that for alot of people

Edge DVD looks pretty good some gem moments there

And it took you up til 2005 to have that view, given Hogan's treatment of Bret, Hennig and Flair amongst others in the 90s?

I'm a HBK mark as well, but he wasn't exactly a saint either. Are you going to have the same slanted view for the same reasons?

Yes, probably because he's one half of a duo that changed the industry forever. WWE wouldn't have needed to butter him up.

At the end of the day, Hogan needs WWE more than WWE needs Hogan. And it has been like that since 1993.

And it took you up til 2005 to have that view, given Hogan's treatment of Bret, Hennig and Flair amongst others in the 90s?

I'm a HBK mark as well, but he wasn't exactly a saint either. Are you going to have the same slanted view for the same reasons?

I didnt get into the whole non kayfabed wrestling and outside of wwe till around 00 when i got some ecw.

So i was never up on hogans backstage crap and what not and refusing to put people over. Then after seeing so much ecw and some indie wrestling how could you lik hogans same ole routine and the legdrop of doom.
The whole summerslam with hbk was a joke and then to do the same to orton as well.
