Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I know earlier in the year the Ray D'arcy show did a happy news section and with everything about banks crashing, share plummeting, and public spending cut backs its time for some happy news.

    So i'll start.

    1. I booked my hotel today for my trip to Buneos Aires at Christmas.

    2. I got asked out for a drink the other day, which totally floored me and I totally bundlled the reply and left the poor fella utterley confused... Damn why can't i be cool:rolleyes:

My little girl climbed into my bed at 3am and told me she loved me.

I never had much money, so if shares have halved who cares. Half of fcuk all is still fcuk all.:)

You could have at least picked a country with a non-recessionary theme. :D

Seriously though, you'll be even happier when you get there. Lovely place.

I have a lovely new niece called Jessica!

And I'm getting a kitten - if anyone has a kitten please let me know:D

    Christmas isn't far away either!:D

I have a kitten, well she's a bit bigger than a kitten now, but she's still the sweetest thing ever!

And I've mended some friendships that had been pretty crap recently and I just recently passed my repeat exams!

Aww thanks hun, really looking forward to it :)

As for the freebies, if only I could have shared the love today! Brown Thomas were giving away a load of free stuff to the first 100 people this morning. I was clueless until I was handed a big goody bag of loads of Mac, Bobby Brown etc make up and all sorts of lotions and potions. What is it about goody bags that make grown women squeel with excitement? :D

If only it was a daily occurance! :(

She's lived there for about 12 yrs - left the day after her leaving to be an Au pair for the summer and stayed. She lives right now up beside Gare du Nord in a very Indian/Pakistani neighbourhood which has amazing fruit and veg for sale in the shops. She's also lived in the 5th & 6th and recently lived in Gentilly beside the 15th for about 3 yrs.

I'm on the 6.20 pm flight with Aer Lingus. Its so straight forward to her place from there. I go over about 7/8 a year - cheaper to get there most times than a night out here.
