What is in your (hand)bag ??

I cleaned out my bag this morning .. bad idea :eek: .. CSI (oooh... George Eads.. ) would have a field day with it if I was ever under suspicion of anything..

I was horrified.. I've not had everything out at once since I bought this bag in May..

Anyway.. contents were..

1 Nokia phone (work mobile)
1 Samsung phone (own mobile)
1 wallet containing E4.31 plus various cards.. i.e bank/organ doner/fuel card
1 Ericsson phone charger (??)

1 Benefit Dandelion powder (almost finished)
1 Benefit Dandelion Powder (Just started)
2 Juicy Tubes (used)
1 YSL Lipgloss/stick thing (new - wondered where it had gone)
1 Telescopic Mascara as faked by Penelope Cruz (dry as the Gobi desert)
1 Benefit Dr Feelgood tin (small scrape left at bottom)
1 small tub Sudocreme (bit grubby - for horses' use)
1 tube Clarins Beauty Flash Balm (new & unused)
1 tube Clarins Beauty Flash Balm (microscopic amount in end)

2 hair elastic things (totally stretched beyond use)
1 small metallic pink hairbrush (slightly chewed by puppies)
1 vial John Frieda Frizz Ease (all but empty)
1 thin gold sparkly hairband (in perfect condition)

2 60ml syringes in sterile packaging (poorly horse 2 wks ago - for antibiotics)
1 80ml syringe in sterile packaging (poorly horse 2wks ago - for antibiotics)
5 needles for above syringes (see poorly horse)
4 sachets of Phenylbutazone (horse version of Iboprufen)
1 100ml bottle Neomycin Suspension (Empty)
1 20ml tube Sedalin (5mls used - horse version of Prozac/Valium)

+/-7 Markies (in various states of crushedness)
1 Medium sized mesh Muzzle

1 packet of Toffos (half full)
1 packet of polos (unopened)
9 Murray Mints (loose)

1 copy of Lady Chatterley's Lover (paperback - very battered)
Several hundred random receipts. (well, it seemed like that many..)
1 black leather glove
A length of blue rope (? approx 8" long)

No wonder I have to literally heft my bag around.. I blame the Fashion Industry for the big bag thing.. If I was walking about with a Fendi Baguette style bag no amount of black arts would fit that lot into it! I would have to be streamlined in my needs...

What has everyone got in their bags ? *curious* I'm a the only one carrying around such a lot ??

Oh my goodness!!!! That's an awful lot on your poor shoulder, ever have sore back / shoulders? that's why

I had to do a quick transfer from my main handbag into my spare this morning as a wee bottle of perfume opened in my bag yesterday, man did I wreak all day

In mine at the mo is:

Phone
Wallet
keys
glasses (although i never carry these with me, they just happened to be in my spare)
driving licence
Nintendo ds
2 perfumes

face powder brush
eye liner
tissues
2 lip glosses
chewing gum
christmas shopping list, inlcuding what I've bought everyone

My bag is quiet small...i change it every few months but only take what i need, so i have loads of bags in my wardrobe with reciepts and payslips etc in it....

.. Mine is just a giant slouchy handbag thing but I could probably fit both dogs, a sleeping bag and a full sized man in it if I had too...

Ah see the "going out" bag is different.. my favourite going out bag at any given time has it's own "supply" that stays in it..

1 small powder compact + brush
1 juicy tube (Melon flavour/colour - goes with everything clothes-wise)
1 Touche Eclat
1 lighter
1 small bottle of Bene-tint
1 packet of those little paper thin breath freshers (for pre-snog freshen ups)
E10 emergency cash in the small zipped pocket

4 nappies and nappy sacks

car seat adaptors

baby socks and hats
4 bibs and 2 muslin cloths
and usually a raincover for the buggy if i can fit it in.
Oh and my ipod and earphones

I like to carry around the bare minimum and I find a bag annoying to bring around! In my small bag I usually just keep my phone, ipod and if I have room for it my wallet, but in my bugger ag I usually have:

They're my emergency stash! I go out during the day and buy chocolate too. The're only if I can't get out to get some!

Jesus - McGyver could build a space shuttle with that lot. I am not a 'lady' and so have keys wallet phone and a work badge.

I change bags every few days so I usually just take my phone, pill, big bunch of keys, wallet, bronzer and brush. The bag I have at the minute is fairly big there so there's stuff in it for months. Here's what I found:

Remegel (I've never suffered from indigestion before in my life but I've been dying for the last 2 days)

Receipts for Tesco, Dunnes, Superquinn and from the bank

I didn't realise how much crap I was carrying around, most of it's gone in the bin.

EDIT: Just found another pocket with more hair clips, chewing gum, another pen and a credit union receipt.
