Ok, pick a date for the party...I will once again supply the glow stuff! I will get the good stuff though.

Don;t know how I confused them! I guess its like when you meet someone for the first time and think their name is Peter but turns out its Michael but everytime you see them you wanna call them Peter even though you know their name is Michael..

Look out for distinguishing characteristics such as blood red lipstick, anaemic complexion, jet-black back-combed hair with a can of hairspray and black attire. Then you'll know your Michaels from your Peters. :)

How has this lasted 6 pages??

If anyone else started a sh*t thread like this we'd be banned...

I moved it to Classic Rock, I went beyond my call and duty, it boomeranged back here like a man from down under.

Mad Men's Don Draper : What you call love was invented by guys like me, to sell nylons.

You will give poor moz a heart attack by placing him in classic rock. expect a rant at his next Dublin gig.

The Smiths were not as good as The Cure.

The Forest blows away most of the smiths stuff, sorry Johnny Marr you were in the wrong band.

I like The Cure and all, but they are a good bit below The Smiths in my estimation. I just hear Joy Division in almost everything they did.

Indeed, the New Romantics were odd but not dangerous.

Exactly. You can blame Micky Dolenz for bumping it today though.

You do realise that it is actually impossible for me to ban that particular user? Indeed, I think you'll find that it's impossible for me to ban most of the users that I "banned" in this thread.;)

3 pages actually. I'll lock it if it actually gets to 6.

You think? Jeez, we're bad but we're not that bad.

then what is your function here? that you have a position of authority at all is most strange.. I opt for the cure; in these times particularly with reeves gabriel on board.

Dangerous only insofar as you could never be entirely sure what gender they were until you got their clothes off back at your gaff.

Apparently Morrissey is a huge fan of Elton John.

I also think this is up there:

'If a double decker bus crashes into us
To die by your side is such a heavenly way to die'

I think that's possibly the most romantic lyric in any song ever.

I fainted recently due to a combination of having taken medication incorrectly and being completely overdressed in a too warm environment. After i came around, my husband said i looked at him and said
    "dont leave your torch behind,
    a powercut ahead, 1972"
He was totally spooked, but its a line from 'Last Night, maudlin street"
I said he can put it on my headstone.
